@@HairyTornado I also bought the RØDE microphones, I am very satisfied, they hear well and accurately. This improves the experience of the viewers who hear you very well, separated from surrounding noises.
Locally, someone posted that they were going to close their booth because they were not selling much. They talked to the owner of the mall and took their advice and added more sports t shirts and hoodies and vintage t shirts. And their profits soared. Reason? The place is within walking distance of the local college. Just thinking maybe you should look at what are people going there to look for.
The high volume and low price (in my opinion) is underrated. Although more work, I think is better long-term as a business. Unfortunately, we don't have bins in our area. Thank you for the videos, your positive attitude, great chemistry as a couple and business partner is enjoyable to watch with your finds. Doing something that you like to do is a great life. Haley came a long way from being shy to a vibrant person she is. I hope you both a long life together filled with happiness, health and success. You are also saving the planet by reselling to reuse these products. Thank you!
The booth would definitely benefit from bringing in somebody with visual merchandising retail experience. There is a lot of empty dead space that is visually off-putting to shoppers. Bright colors and dynamic items draw attention to your booth. You can make it look full without it being cluttered.
Thanks for the video Josh and Hayley! I loved seeing sweet Mose❤! The mic quality is great and OMGosh what a haul on the plushes! I have said this before, but your videos are always so much fun to watch and never boring!!!❤❤❤

I have a booth in a store that is similar to yours. A few things I have learned is that if its hard to walk into, you have things blocking an easy path, (many) people won't walk in to look. If your booth or shelves are too bare, they can see everything by walking by, instead of walking into your booth and taking more time to look. You truly only have moments to make an impression on a shopper, and if you don't have enough things in your booth to catch their attention to make them want to look longer you are going to have more people walk by. Also every few months do a total reset, move everything around to a different area in the booth, it makes it look like you have new things even if you do not. People will notice things they may not have noticed before (because places like this often have regular repeat shoppers).
@@flimflams6525 you’ll have to follow us on whatnot to see what it all sells for. I’d guess we’d sell each one for about $10 on average. Paying $2.50 each would give us a profit of around $6.50 per plush after fees. Sell all 100 plush in one day and make $650. Seems worth it to me and Furman will obviously keep buying stuff for us in the future because we pay him well.
@Hairy Tornado Josh… omg finally…. Someone who knows about the cpap stuff. Where are you selling these? Where are you selling supplies, like masks, tubing etc. Brand new factory sealed. Family member gave me a bag full of stuff, but I hear repeatedly, you cant sell it on eBay. What’s your exp/ advice/ recommendation? Thanks! And love all the content! 🙏🏻😊
Booth sales can be tough. Try just bread and butter items to boost your sales. Add some bigger items then to get your profit. I have learned a lot from you, as a 50 year reseller there is always, new things you can learn from others. Thanks I enjoy your videos.
Audio is super crisp! I just bought that Blooper from you! Lol. That kid was super nice to give you that Harry Potter thing. Did you even give it to Hayley like you said you would?
Hi idea here, for the small business day have you considered co ordinating a what not show with other booths. this could encourage them to what not and bring watchers to the store that may want to do a wave while you are filming (photo bomb) or a face book video same thing. If the store would agree of course. great way to get the word out of what could be bought in store for christmas. not all are able to be relaxed open sellers like you and wife.
Our bins in OKC brings new stuff out every 15-30 min. If its clothes its 12 bins at a time, and shoes is probably 4-6 bins...I was there for 3 hours last week and saw probably 30 new bins! that's wild that they don't restock at yours. ours is super cheap too $1.15 a pound if over 25 pounds and all shoes $2.60. so thats really good for boots!

A great day at the bins. You were having fun. Maybe a bin of plush in the booth would draw kids in and drag their parents with them. Adding inventory that other pickers would be interested in as they make their rounds of stops. It would be understandable if you have your hands full and need to give the booth idea a pass. Great video. Thanks.
19:25 I got so distracted by that "The Might B!" animated series DVD at the bottom, i did a quick research because I recognized it as a kid, and if my research is correct, that exact version of the DVD seems to be an exclusive version of the home media. And I LOVE rare collectible pieces of merch from old shows, my bread and butter 🧈
Around here it's more about smaller less expensive items in the booths that sell a lot. $10 or less. I've got one booth that does quite well. 2 of my friends have 2 booths each and consistently do over $3000 each month.
I think with the booth you need to make it more welcoming. Darker walls, low lights and move some of the shelving so it looks more like a study. Just my personal opinion
When I had a booth… I bought little paper lunch bags and made cute labels that said mystery bag. I made them $5-10! I would sell 10+ a day almost. I made a lot of Pokemon mystery bags which were the best sellers, I would just get random little boys and cards for it. I did a 90s theme one too. You should try that with all the little items you get at the bins
Maybe switch some of the booth merchandise with stuff you have in the warehouse. Or take some stuff in your dead pile and put it in the booth, so you have different merchandise. Cold weather will be here soon, try selling those Jack Skeleton hats on What Not, just get them out of the booth. People see them, figure you have the same stuff and don’t bother looking at anything else. Cooler weather coming, people bake / cook more, maybe someone will buy that mixer. Make a bigger SALE sign.
You should do a live what not show from your booth! That would be fun! Also I can't believe no one has gotten the kitchen side mixer! I need that in my life. Can you test the mixer before taking it? Maybe that's an obstacle to selling it
Me and a friend has two open cases at an antique mall here in Wheatridge, Colorado. We have noticed the same thing, that sales are down. And the space needs more maint. in our time and moving things around to get more attention. We do enjoy this venture but wish sale were better. I believe this is due to the pending election. But that is just my opinion.
That lands end bag had the initials RBG which could just be sold as an homage to Ruth Bader Ginsberg, the first female supreme court justice! pretty cool!
When I went to your booth, I saw lots of signs saying 30% off or 50% off entire booth, but the signs were between booths and I wasn't sure which booth was actually having a sale.
