We Cary our tick spray in all of our vehicles. Just an idea for you. I also have a small bag of tools in each of them. This doesn’t mean that I don’t have to go back to the house for anything.

Put the old fridge in the workshop and use it for paint cans, oil, fuel, and air filters, plus grease cartridges.
You may want to carry your walkie-talkies with you on fence duty. We use the walkie-talkie when one of us is in the tractor and the other is giving directions (like lifting stuff on and off the flatbed truck).

So I am 63 and have been on high blood pressure meds and cholesterol meds for 3 years and this year started on a baby aspirin a day.
My warning signs were I started to drag my feet and would get light headed at times.
So if you are getting winded when you did not get this way before, then go see your doctor or a cardiologist.

Good Day Meredith and Lawrence, electric fence maintenance can be a challenge. for sure. Especially along a tree line or a water course where the ground is naturally eroding near overflow pipes. It never seems to fail on level ground but guaranteed to fail on a heavy downgrade or slope . I was so pleased to hear your story about reading the Strawberry Book to the Young School Children . it sounds that you got as much enjoyment reading to the Kids as they enjoyed listening to reading to them. One of Life's wonderful treasures. What a thoughtful Mothers Day Gift from Wesley . Removing the old fridge from the porch. Along with a great family trail ride to finish off the day.
Meredith, I was yelling at you thru my IPad take 3 of those tools and that’s exactly what you did.✔️🥰. I was the tool grabber in my marriage and I loved it. Made me proud, when I bought the correct one. My darling had enough tools to supply many folks. Are Lawrence’s knees holding out? Looks like they are. Please show him back stretching exercises. I do them 1/2 hr., in my bed before arising. Makes ALL the differences and I’m 84. Forget those kissing snakes🤮. Love you.❤

Dang ticks! They are bad. After recent tornadoes, we were cutting back trees that blew down into crop fields and we forgot bug spray. I had close to two dozen ticks, some as small or smaller than the head of a pin. I had Lyme disease a number of years back and don’t want to go through that again. Take care out there.

Thanks for sharing the video Meredith. Glad you had a good Mother's Day. I know you are glad to get the old fridge off the porch. Those hills will make most anybody breath hard. I know I do especially when I am walking in the mountains. It's about like it is there here where I live. Lawrence has worked up here years ago working for the railroad. Yeah that snake would be a little too close to my face as well. I don't try to kill a black snake but I still am spooked by them. Hope y'all are getting some beneficial rain.

You sure had me laughing about the over flow pipe and telling that wire to come here. You sound like me. 😂 That snake is a big no for me. I believe you definitely got your work out done. I know that I wouldn’t do as well as you did. The children were so sweet and I know you had a great time getting to read to them. I have never seen fish bed like that, that’s a first for me. We have black and brown widows, black and brown recluse all over our place especially in our barn. They’re so bad in the summer. 😝 I was helping my husband pull the big zero turn lawnmower out of the ditch and I got bit by a dog gone Colorado Rocky Mountain tick. We live in Texas and they need to get out of here. Y’all have some beautiful land and I agree that would be a great place to build a home. I’m so happy you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Y’all are raising a couple of great kids and I’m so happy that they are choosing to make great choices.
