Lots of hate for skinny jeans. When I was in school (class of 2014) people were still loving skinny jeans. It’s all people would wear and look for. If you wore any other cut of jeans, you were “outdated”. I find it interesting the love/hate cycle of fashion.
@TUbIuyola I'm sure baggy/skinny trousers have been in and out of style since we started wearing clothes! There was probably some Elizabethan kid arguing with his parents that baggy doublets were out and he was only wearing tights from now on 😂

Cosplay means costume play so has nothing to do with fashion nor Japanese fashion in general. Better terms would have been "alternative j-fashion", or "vibrant Harajuku fashion" would have been more accurate since she seemed to just point at the colourful alternative styles in general and not any specific fashion like "lolita" or "decora"?
Um hello, there are plenty of items from menswear that translated to female fashion, also who is still sexist?? It's 2022... Don't wear BF jeans if you don't like them, but don't come at me with this "doesn't fit the ladies because it's menswear BS" ....

Skinny jeans is not a 2004 trend, more like after 2009. Baggy or flared pants were popular in the early 00's

I remember skinny starting to trickle in during university which I started in 2004!
And the moral is never to throw away your jeans, because they'll come back on trend eventually.

It depends on the outfit. They work with baggy tops, for example. You wouldn’t want to wear baggy pants with baggy tops…ugh
