We've been researching these screens and your video helped us make up our mind! Informative, professional video opposed to so many on here that are not. Thanks the great info and especially that the short piece will roll up in the awning. A must have!!!
Thanks for you awning install video. I have been thinking about one of these because we live in Florida and the sun is killer. You put me over the hump. I’ll be purchasing one of these carefree soon. Thanks again. Great “to the point” video..
Very beneficial ... thank you so much.... Also you have beautiful grass and I love your white fence. A lot of love has gone into your backyard set up....thank you for sharing. take care
@@TollesonLife I wouldn't say it was a little place at all... but you two have done a great job. If ever you get a chance to visit Australia it would be a pleasure to show you around. Just a heads up we drive on the opposite side of the road ...so takes a little while to get used too.. Shame you can't drive a RV here lol I would have done that 30 years ago. As they say in the south..Take care Y'all....
Greetings from Polk City Florida! I like the product but don't think it will work with my awning. I did check their website and it appears to be for the roll up awnings only. Thanks for posting brother. We may run into each other at some point.
Hey Don, sorry this one won't work for ya. Hope you can find one that will! Safe travels this summer! Hope we can run in to each other man! All the best!
Hey John! We were discussing you guys last week. Hope y’all are having a great summer! We really enjoy the awning shade. Thanks for watching! Y’all be safe!
I realize that this video is old, but hope you can give me a quick reply. HELP! Another question. We are getting a sun shade screen that attaches to our awning tube. It can't possibly weigh more than 5 lbs. or so. Do we have to remove it from the awning when we go away from our rig or can we just roll it up in the awning when we leave for the day? Some say yes and some say no. Does anyone have one and does it hurt to let it roll up with the awning? YES, I know they have one that just zips off, but they don't make it in our size. What is the size of your awning? and what size screen did you order? We have what is classified as a 19 ft awning, but it actually measures 18ft 3 inches. The screens only come in a 19 ft and a 17 ft. If I order the 19 ft, is that the actual size of the screen? If it is then it will stick out beyond our awning ends and ripup the top screen piece when I roll it up. Nobody seems to be able to tell me and I can't get anyone at the company to answer me. Help. Nice channel and enjoy your videos. thanks in advance.
Hi Daryl love your videos !!! we have a 2018 Tiffin 34 PA My awnings opening will take up to a 14'6" insert how wide is the 15 footer , is it the full 15' or slightly smaller? it looked like in the video you had about 6 inches on each end? would love one of these zip offs but know I cant by one to wide ...Maybe your awning track in 16' thanks in advance for your help
I'd love to put one on ours but our open slot is blocked by the end caps. Funny part is I have the exact same power awning except my strip light is where the awning meets the trailer. Short of taking off the end cap I'm not sure how to access the my open slot.
Love the shades. I actually made my own before I knew about this product. Love the shade and privacy. Have you thought about purchasing the end wall kit?
Quick question...have you tried to, or do you know if you can, roll the whole thing up in your awning? Or, do you have to unzip and remove the bottom section every time?
KJRitch, no mine does not have the wind sensor feature. Wished it did. I thing the shade attached to one with a wind sensor could be problematic..... I drop the shade and roll in the awning each time I leave the RV just due to extra caution.
Hey Julie, Can you take a picture of your awning when its out? It should not be blocked, are you extending it to far? I will look into this today and see what I find. If you take the photo, our email is Tollesonlife@gmail.com.

Nice Sir! I will look for one of those. Man, you have a great looking yard! I have some work to do when I get home.
Lol on the yard work! Those Zip Blockers do come in handy when the sun is "just right" in the sky.....

That makes a big difference. Thanks
You are very welcome Gilbert.

Hey John! We were discussing you guys last week. Hope y’all are having a great summer! We really enjoy the awning shade. Thanks for watching! Y’all be safe!
Love it ... Now if it had side panels and could lock to the front you could almost make a Screen house out of it...
Hey Francis, they do make side panels for it, I just didn't purchase them. Thanks for watching1
Thank you good video .
You are welcome Martin.

Hey Rick! Sorry for the delay, been on the road traveling. I don't recall the exact measurements of the awning, let me look into it to confirm.
@@TollesonLife Thanks Daryl no rush!
Hi, thanks for this very useful video. What model and year is your Tiffin and what size did you order?
Hey Latricia, ours was 2018 36 UA model.
I'd love to put one on ours but our open slot is blocked by the end caps. Funny part is I have the exact same power awning except my strip light is where the awning meets the trailer. Short of taking off the end cap I'm not sure how to access the my open slot.
Dan, have you googled/youtube that issue? I think I saw a simple fix to your issue. Trying to find it now.
Love the shades. I actually made my own before I knew about this product. Love the shade and privacy. Have you thought about purchasing the end wall kit?
Hey DeCampers, I have looked at the end wall kit but haven't made the purchase yet. Maybe down the road....
Quick question...have you tried to, or do you know if you can, roll the whole thing up in your awning? Or, do you have to unzip and remove the bottom section every time?
Bomb Dawg, they say you can roll it up in an emergency but they recommend unzipping the main piece when rolling it up.
Thank you:):)
Sure thing Bill.
How do you put the awning up when windy with the sunshade attached? It looks as though you would have to take it off.
Hey Beverly, to roll the awning back in, you unzip the large connecting piece and store it, then roll the small top piece up with the awning.
how fix interior lights and awning and exterior led lights when i turned the lights off (outside lights) they wouldn't turn back on
When mine arrived there was no storage case, stakes or rope.
Does your awning have any wind sensor feature? If active and it decided to roll up I wonder how it would react to the shade being attached?
KJRitch, no mine does not have the wind sensor feature. Wished it did. I thing the shade attached to one with a wind sensor could be problematic..... I drop the shade and roll in the awning each time I leave the RV just due to extra caution.
Can you roll this up with the awning instead of taking it off everytime?
Marilyn, the manufacture recommends removing before rolling it up. They do say you can roll the entire thing up in an emergency…
We ordered using your link and the storage bag and stakes were not included.
Hey Jennifer, sorry to hear that, have you reached out the shipper?
Should all Awnings have an open slot? We have a carefree awning and the slot is blocked
Hey Julie, Can you take a picture of your awning when its out? It should not be blocked, are you extending it to far? I will look into this today and see what I find. If you take the photo, our email is Tollesonlife@gmail.com.
