If you haven't watched the whole movie, this track hits a little differently. This track comes towards the end. The rest of the movie builds up the whole brother relationship between Ramsey's and Moses. This is the peak of that falling out.
Moses's attitude in these scenes reflected God's attitude as well. God did not enjoy punishing Egypt, he loved the Egyptians too and was giving them a big smack because he wanted them to wake up as well. God wanted to see his people free so they can live out the reason why they were created. His mission still continues to this day for all nations. Great reaction, man 😆👍
same thing at the time of Noah, he don't want to wipe out the people by flood but because of out of the line attitude and blasphemous people he have to save the few., even at the time of Abraham when they succeeded to save his sister in the town of Sodom, God wipe out also the people there.
I'm Jewish and also Palestinian so this movie hits hard with me every time. That song is so epic. Obviously I grew up knowing the story and I think this movie did a pretty good job portraying it. Especially the final song. We sing that one often.

Yo I grew up with this movie & it always had hit me hard everytime this song in the movie came on & as for the last plague I always felt bad for the 1st borns cause its not their fault for all that was happening including Ramses' son had died all cause his father was to stubborn and prideful it took to the point for Pharaoh Rameses to lose his son to let Moses ppl go & even then st the end he becomes very hateful to Moses & goes after him & his ppl its very saddening, all the songs are beautiful and the animation was amazing for a film back in the 90s to still to this day look amazing also another biblical animation movie that is i guess a prequel to Prince of Egypt is called Joseph the King of Dreams and its how Moses ppl ended up being in Egypt and how Joseph had a gift given by Godot also another amazing movie id recommend it to anyone to watch it

He is the "sun and the evening star", the righteous disciple of Ra and divinity in mortal form to lead the people of Egypt. There is no bending because their society would collapse. If he listens to God, he proves to his people and worse, himself, that Pharoah is no true divinity and that he is "the weak link".

I always love this song so much. After becoming a real Christian and reading exodus, I actually find the plagues that God chose was very interesting. They were very specific to show the Egyptians that their Egyptian Gods weren’t real. Like with the plague of darkness for 3 days straight, he did that one to show that the most worshipped and high powered Egyptian god (rah) couldn’t control the sun. Rah is the sun god and pharaohs were known as gods, so obviously the Egyptians believed the Egyptian gods would protect Egypt and the royal family. So rah couldn’t be in control of the sun or else he wouldn’t have put Egypt into darkness
This whole song was powerful, and on 3:51 is the 9th of th Ten Plagues of Egypt, the Plague of Darkness 🌑☁️. But, what really makes me cry is when the 10th and final Plague is brought upon Egypt, and God smites all the firstborn 😔😢😭😣🥺. Hopefully those children came to Heaven 😔🤞🙏. To those who believe in other religions, not just Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (our gods are one and the same, just different beliefs), I'm holding out hope that all good people (regardless of religion and their personal interests (ie LGBT people)) will be allowed into Heaven as well, or at the very least, their religions' equivalent of it, I guess that's the best I can hope for 😔🤞🙏.
Sorry bro, God doesn’t compromise with other gods and religions that’s why each plague was thrown against a particular god like darkness the 9th plague was against Ra the sun god. As for the kids dying at a certain age they are innocent so automatic visas to heaven.

I remember after the death of pharaohs son.. Moses wheeps.. We have to remember this was his brother for many years.. So in a way that was his nephew

Yo I grew up with this movie & it always had hit me hard everytime this song in the movie came on & as for the last plague I always felt bad for the 1st borns cause its not their fault for all that was happening including Ramses' son had died all cause his father was to stubborn and prideful it took to the point for Pharaoh Rameses to lose his son to let Moses ppl go & even then st the end he becomes very hateful to Moses & goes after him & his ppl its very saddening, all the songs are beautiful and the animation was amazing for a film back in the 90s to still to this day look amazing also another biblical animation movie that is i guess a prequel to Prince of Egypt is called Joseph the King of Dreams and its how Moses ppl ended up being in Egypt and how Joseph had a gift given by Godot also another amazing movie id recommend it to anyone to watch it
