    Dear Sir , I have some questions
    1: How Ia will flow during no load condition as we have seen it in short circuit test it only flow when it is short circuited.
    2: I think you have considered a situation where lagging pf load is connected where some Field current is used create terminal voltage that is If1 and If2 is countering the armature reaction where we find the resultant If and from there we find the terminal voltage during lagging load. Please correct me if i have misunderstood it

    One doubt, the field of an alternator is excited by DC supply then why are we going for vector addition, we can add if1,if2 arithmetically na?

    flux always leading emf is not always correct we cannot say anyting about that
    my professor is well experienced and had explained the reason behind that so please do not spread misconceptions
