Majority of ghost stories from the start are seeing someone in the dark or hearing noise for 30-60 mins etc. You can always find flaws in the story to make them funny.
However that lodge story was terrifying even if there wasn't a ghost.
You are out in the middle of nowhere, no electricity, you hear banging on the door next to your room, heavy rain outside, then things happening in your own room. Then you are locked inside the lodge, you come back with your bags open. Even if the receptionist locked and went home, a drunken playing around in the room. I would still be shit scared.
Fucking hell, even thinking now about it is scary.

Or it can be a shady place. With the bar downstairs n some illegal activities going on, on the floor where the narrators room was. Reception wale person ko laga hoga ki raat me koi nahi jayega bahar so sab lock karke ghar gaya. Can't explain ki bag kaise khula hua mila n the bathroom incident.
The chai tapri wala person bas kuch rumours spread kar raha hoga.
Because the person they met before also warned them ki family k sath matt jana lodge me. So I think it must be a ill reputated place.

@@bluemanu9543 That was my first thought too, but things didnt add up, there would have been some commotion, also, where would people go, in the thunderstorm, in the middle of the night, and its pitch dark.
Hoezaay's pillow is also wide awake because of ghost stories sessions 😂😝

Anoushka's story was super scary (tak tak) and the pavani hotel story had so many details and it did feel like wtf where is it going but the payoff was epic!!!!! What a story!!!!
I feel the house owners make up these rules to "discipline" girls and this often has been the way boys trouble girls living alone...the friend also rushed home coz some people were chasing her (these guys could have continued )

At this point of time Home minister should release Ghost Map of India (like resources, minerals maps we ve.).. Maharashtra esp Pune at first position. 2nd Calcutta and Bangalore.. . 3rd ll be Rajasthan... Above all Mulund & hilly regions should be the capital. And like always high remittances of ghost stories from USA.

The only explaination I could think of is that
What if it is about time travel ...like when they visited it ...it was in the time when it was actually working before the lightening took away people's lives ...so it was actually full there were people and that was the only room available
And then after some time they came back in the actual time when it is actually locked and the spirits of people who died there are still stuck in there till date (also we have seen in few movies that sometimes even after death people don't realise that they are dead and they keep on living thinking that they still exist as they used to before ...they are kind of stuck in a loop) so these died people were normally living over there but now the duo (father and son) couldn't see them because those people are dead! ( And might be ghosts also can't see the duo bcoz in certain movies even this concept exist that both the worlds(of the living and the dead) haunt each other)
This can explain the things
