I've said it before but again it's evident that you put a lot of thought and effort into making these videos and it really shows. Please keep them coming and good luck to you and your dad with the cod this season.
Hi Kade, it's 8 pm Friday 30th November so you may be joining the Cod (boat) road-train heading north that I passed this arvo when driving back from Shepp. Anyway, I picked up my first baitcaster today and I thought I'd done all my homework prior. So when I got home I saw the box and receipt which said left handed and I'm right handed. That is, I always wind with my right hand when using a spin reel. So looking at your video, it looks like you and your dad have the same set-up with your baitcasters and you both reel in with your right hand. Why I'm confused is that I watched some US based videos that went on about right handed people should use left handed baitcasters. Simple question, are your reels left or right handed? The reel I bought sits on the rod the same as both of yours. That is the handle is on the right. Thanks, Bill
Vassily Lucashenko g'day mate, we have right handed baitcasters. So we wind we our right hands, this is the 'wrong way' to fish if your are right handed but many people including us fish the 'wrong way' as some people would say, hope this helps Bill 👍
It sure does help Kade. @@kdfishing1771 So we are all three wrong in the way we fish according to the so called experts, but we keep catching fish so I guess we're doing something right. Or just plain lucky !! PS, nice to see you are getting some international attention with subscribers from the good ole US of A.. Keep this up and you'll have your own fishing show. That's my prediction. Did you guys do Mulwalla or even get on to any cod since midnight Friday? Cheers, Bill
