Pay a 'Hostgator agent' 90 dollars or thereabouts to contact the domain name owner by phone and ask 'do you want to sell this domain'. He/She answers 'No'. I have found trying to find the holder of a particular Domain name impossible so I am being levered into using an 'agent'. They have the market stitched up.

Hi Morten. What if a domain has a history over the past 10 years, no any backlinks and available to buy.
Probably not a problem if it's clean in terms of links.

Yes, the one I want is 'parked'. Basically someone has made up the same name with no intention of using it - just selling it on for a huge profit.

.org is fine. Google don't care. Just think about the users seeing a .org, That's the only issue there can be. But you'll be fine!
