This piece is a mix of what I believe is two pieces. Neither of which Blast wrote. The opening and ending are Marimba Spiritual. I can't think of the composer off the top of my head. However, the drum part (some of it) and the marimba are from the piece. So Blast did not base it around 16ths, it just happens to be the way the piece is written. Also, I believe in the sheet music some of it is 32nds Depnding on who you talk to all music is based around 16ths so not sure where your comment is going
Are you a good kisser? 1. Hold your breath 2. Go on to another video 3. Add this comment but still holding your breath 4. Did you make it? If you did then your a good kisser
Very Nice Stuff from these guys been looking for this piece for awhile though loved it back in the day especially when the singing starts. Fantastic work from these guys!
I'd like to believe the 16th notes help for a pulse. It pushes and it drives the piece forward. It's an ostinato used quite frequently for pieces such as this. Without it, it would seem that this piece would be sporadic and 'awkward.'
Blast is always so awesome.
Well, at least I know what I'm talking about.
Blast members are not drummers, they are percussionists, there is a big difference.
Marimba Spiritual, not "more blast" xD
muito fixe mesmo.....expaktakulo
I have a CD with all of their songs.

Awesome!
I loved it when the guy started singing.
No problem :) At my college there's a nice rift between the drum set majors and percussion majors, we like to keep the line clear =P
