True drifting is using weight transfer to reduce load on the rear wheels or inertia to overcome the grip. You can truly drift a FWD car like this. Even though this isn’t that, it’s still good fun. Won't work. The reason the plastic trays work so well is that HDPE plastic has a very low friction coefficient. On a molecular level, the material is very slick, and maintains that property as it ablates off. I was doing this trick befor most of you were born. The only thing that works better than fast food trays is home made custom 12" x 18" pucks of 1" thick HDPE sheet that you Screw 1/4" plywood to, and then epoxy sand paper to the ply. The stuff is so slick your tires will slide off the HDPE pucks, so you need to put the wood backer on it with the sand paper to grip your tires. The only glue that will reliably stick to HDPE plastic is a 3M product that has a 6month shelf life and costs 100 bucks a tube. They last like 5x as long as fast food trays. And you can re use the backer boards, just zing it into another HDPE puck with 3/4" wood screws.

instead of 'borrowing' fast food trays pry up the square metal fire hydrant cover plates found on the side of most roads with a cro bar and use them = unlimited drifting with some cool sparks spraying out (have fun and remember to return the plates when your done :) haha

Just rip the e brake doing 30mph at a u turn let off the gas before the turn then coming up to the turn stomp the pedal to the floor turn and rip the e brake simultaneously until it slides then let the brake back down , that’s how I drift a fwd
Left foot braking...distributing the weight of the car to the front wheels and making the back to slide....need practice but once you master it u will be a god.

Simple steps - 1. Don't try to drift with FWD. 2. Drift only works with RWD. 3. With AWD it is called poweslide.
I know its not a sport car but i own a 2.5 ford fusion and i can do that with the hand brake just need a bit of whater and desactivate traction control
Actually the best way to drift your FWD car is to not countersteer. you can drift by hectic weight shifting, but if you oversteer to far you crash. and if you try to counter steer you'll crash.
I did it with my best friend all the time But that is the wrong way to do it You have to put rocks, flat rocks So u have longer run time Then if possible Do it in the rain it will slide way easier Or do it on any wet surface Good luck

front wheel drift is simple, you can use Scandinavian flick and then control the skid with brake tapping to shift the car towards inside line or else accelerate to to be on outside line.
