- ((So first off - my partner is here. At last. It's been 8 months since I last saw him because of the pandemic and lockdown. It means I have a bit more free time on my hands as he helps out and spends time with our son. He wants to make up for lost time. It also means I have more time to record - so I'll try get through as many as I can whilst still spending time with the both of them. As soon as I have a good number done, I'll start uploading more per day. Once all are recorded, I'll upload the remaining. It might take a couple of weeks or so, but I'll get there!))
One thing I didn't put (I don't think) on the last chapter - it frustrated me how after literally voting for someone to take away your child, Kiara still expected you to help her. I wish there was an option to have more of a go, I swear...
So I kinda felt sorry for Eirik in this chapter. Goes to show there really is more to him than meets the eye.
I LOVED Ella's outfit! Reminded me somewhat of the Tough Love outfit from the beginning of the whole series.
Getting the points at the Expo was easier than I thought it'd be at the beginning at the chapter, and what I know about cars can fit onto a small piece of paper. Just the basics really.
And I knew I'd be expected to drive in the race one way or another. And between the two cars...geez. I mean, I don't know much about them, but even I can tell the Falcon was a no brainer when it came to better cars. And how they try to throw you off by discussing which side of the field to use for the flowers, as opposed to which path to take on the road!
The bouquets - either they just had the same ideas, or one was copying the other. But hey...guess no one thought about that... At least we now have Kiara's vote. And I won't go easy on her if she betrays us again. Like I said, none of what happened was Ella's fault, or even Liam's fault, and yet, they get blamed for it. Who WANTS to be kidnapped by people who have the intention to kill you at your wedding? It was poor judgement anyway, especially considering Kiara is a diplomat.
The scene at the bar was interesting. Finding out more info to it all - it solidifies my belief that there is a lot more to Godfrey murdering Queen Eleanor than meets the eye. The whole fall out happened after. Part of me seriously wonders if there is something else going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of yet. With all that has happened in the past, I'd expect anything at this point - like if she isn't really dead... Been wondering that for a bit. Something just doesn't add up to me, but then, I'm suspicious of everything, and it might not be accurate.
So! Onto Adelaide. This is where I suspect staying in Madeleine's good graces comes into play. We will finally find out why her mother sided with Barthelemy. I can't see her getting blackmailed. And surely she'd know of the bad blood that erupted between her husband and him...so why? More that doesn't make sense to me. Guess we shall have the answers soon.
This story keeps getting more interesting and more mysterious by the chapter! I'm itching to know the whole plot behind Queen Eleanor's death. I have a feeling this book will knock us off our feet. At least I hope so. We've known about Godfrey's betrayal since book 1 and we're already on book 3 with no answers yet. Pixelberry better have written one hell of a plot for this one to be so long. I don't think any of the past books in this series have had a plot that lasts three books. I'm very excited to see what happens with MC, Liam, the heir and the Beaumonts.
I also wish we could have a little argument with Liam, to be more realistic. I love him and all, but I wonder how he'd be like in an argument with MC, or even better, see him jealous or pretend to be jealous in one of their missions, like with Bradshaw and Isabella... Gosh I need to be patient haha
About the possibilities of Queen Eleanor's death I had a thought. Remember in royal heir book 1 last chapter, MC , Liam and her friends visit the Queen's private chambers to investigate. Then Liam recalls about the last moments with his mother. Then, when Godfrey gifts the Queen with the goblet he insists that she use it at once. Then King constantine offers to select the drink.. then when MC and the others enter the secret study, they find out that a particular drink reacted with the metal caused the death. then there is a possibility that king constantine had a part in the plot since he was the one who selected the drink. He obviously wouldnt betray his love, but we know that the Queen was pregnant before her death. then the possibility is that the child was not of king constantine's. so he may have had a hand in the plot. that was the thing i had in mind. and another thing, please do record desire and decorum: first winter.

@@Skyila86 You must be so happy to be reunited with your boyfriend especially after being apart for so long. And it always helps to have an extra hand when it comes to infant tantrums Haha.
