I have a similar experience while playing Goob bc I was in a main hunt and there was 2 other Goobs with me with a pebble, 2 tishas, and 1 astro. Pebble died at floor 6 so everyone yelled at me and the goobs to distract. I said nty bc I cant distract I don’t have the trinkets + I’m very laggy. the other goobs also said no bc of lag so everyone just got mad so the goobs left bc they were annoying them and I stayed. After a while they just led the monsters to me and at floor 11 tisha died trying to lead it and yelled in chat “ GOOB UR NOT DOING UR JOB” and I said “ first of all I said no to distracting and u still led it, that’s not my problem..” and then that got mad and said they were reporting me. So I just had enough of these ppl and left. Pls like if u want/can this took me long to writeeeeee
As someone who doesnt play dandy's world, i diagnose these people with sheep syndrome. they see people saying that "Goob can only be used for distracting" and change their minds to that. they miss the part where its a STRATEGY, and a STRATEGY is optional.
Me too, During a run at floor 7 most of us died and soon enough it was Rodger and Gigi, Gigi died and puted the blame on me for not distracting and so did rodger, then Rodger said I should play as goob if I'm going to extract, I told him why I was playing as a goob, since he has his ghost speed and my other toons suck, and yet he said " IDC go distract" so I left.
i also had a similar experience.. so, i was in a main hunt as toodles and there were was goob, tisha/host, rodger, sprout and cosmo, goob died on floor 6 or 7, so we had no one to distract anymore, then when we got to floor 8 or 9, sprout, me, and tisha was left. then sprout died, and sprout stayed in the round, then i was trying to do the last machine, when tisha, kept bringing the twisteds to me. i said, "stop griefing tisha" then sprout said "shes not griefing.. shes distracting" then tisha even said "YEA TOODLES" and i kept trying to do last machine, tisha kept bringing the twisteds to me. so i just gave up and went afk, when i did, tisha led looey to me while i was afk, and i died, and then she said, "HAHAHA" and then sprout and tisha left tisha was crazy when she was hosting a main hunt.
Let’s all be honest, the Rodger probably can’t even make it to floor 3 without a distractor and he needs one so he can grind ichor reach higher floors and get better toons so they look like a experienced person, when in reality THEY HAVE A SKILL ISSUE

of course everyone HAD skill issues when they WERE beginners. but they will learn to be better when they play more. but instead of doing that, this rodger chose to rely on distractors and forced that goob to distract. honestly, its upsetting me how much ppl rely on distractors these days. “who distract??” in the beginning of almost EVERY public runs. of course distractors are required in private runs, as theres so many twisteds later on. but not being able to survive two twisteds without a distractors definitely shows how “skilled” you are in this game

same happened to me toxic shelly was forcing me to distract (i was goob)she was mad but even at first i said "I won't distract im sick and don't have the speedy trinkets i also can be laggy you can let flutter or someone" but then we realised pebble was here and then shelly said "PEBBLE YESS" this means she was using pebble to distract but then pebble said "Not because im pebble i will distract" he didn't want distract and also flutter didn't want too she also didn't listen to us in floor 1 i accidentally leaded the twisted to her she thought i was distracting but I wasn't i reminded her that i won't that's because she didn't listen to me but then she blamed me on leading the twisted to her she said "Thanks goob for leading the twisted to me" (it was scarscam) i didn't even pull her to me i didn't mean to lead the twisted to her but pebble also bullied her and said 'You can't force him" pebble was standing on my side she blamed us as a useless team after that all the people of the server left even pebble and shelly but i wasn't sad because atleast pebble was the nicest

Legit had this experience today with a Razzel and Dazzel. They were asking if I could distract and I said no cuz I’m not good at it and I’m not a fan of it. They went on a rant over “but people expect it” and “just use someone else”. Like I’m sorry??? Distractions aren’t a requirement. If you’re super over reliant on one, then that just shows how you play.

Kiting are just there to help people not get hit like idiots, those are optional making the game more fun and challenging, people need to know how to actually be aware of their surroundings and how to not die
fr distractors make dw players not know the basic survival skills 😭 whenever i first played the game, i played it solo (cause of the typical starter toon crap) and because of that i dont need to rely on distractors cause i know how to kite for a short while and lose LOS. people having distractors in their public runs dont teach them anything, nd when they dont have one, they waste all their stamina and isnt even able to survive a slow twisted like shrimpo.

Distracting wasn't sopposed to be a thing, if you have pebble then he is not a distractor, but a survivor type toon due to his speed. You have an overall point if you wanna be any type of toon.

Extractor Pebble is my main honestly 💪 💪 yeah you go dog! work on that machine almost as fast as vee! also if you can land the skill checks, get participation award instead of wrench (unless you don't have 100% on Shelly yet)

There's nothing wrong with being an extractor pebble, but just say "I'm not distracting." If Goob was meant to distractor he would've gotten a different ability like pebble did. (Pebble's old active was to sniff out items, now that's his passive. His new ability is an airhorn-like bark.) Idc what you guys say, pebble is the ONLY toon made for distracting. That's why ONLY he got updated / buffed.
I’m unsure about scraps’ extraction speed Cosmo has 3 star extraction speed, though skill checks may matter more Glisten has 5 star extraction speed Sprout just isn’t good at extracting

Qwel/ Qwelver legitimately said you can play as any style you want. say you want to distract as 2 star movement speed toon you just need trinkets! (Speed trinkets to be exact) "Distractor" toons need atleast participation award and magnifying glass to extract faster 2 star extraction speed probably becomes 3 or 4 star extraction speed. while 1 star extraction speed becomes 3 star extraction speed. That's how good the combo is.
Fr people out here throwing baby rage fits when you aren't carrying them. Like, if you need a distractor that bad, maybe you should learn how to play as one (or just get better at the game), and then you'd see why nobody wants to distract. Not only is it boring, and you get less than HALF the ichor than everyone (while having to work harder than everyone on top of that) else who has time to screw around, do machines, pick up items, etc, but it also gives me carpel tunnel in my wrist from prolonged periods of time. I'm an extractor pebbles and i'm always the last one standing while those baby ragers don't even make it to floor 10 lol.

A vee once (I’m friends with them now dw) was getting mad for bad reasons. They complained about my friend, who was Cosmo’s stealth, got mad at me for distracting twisted glisten, got mad at my friend who was Shelly for not distracting twisteds to save them when Shelly was on 1, and mad at my friend who was sprout for not distracting (sprout is her only main and she thinks it’s not too enjoyable as sprout)

Goob has low stealth and good speed which makes it great for distracting, but distractor role never existed. It was just ppl making a fanmade role and also goob wasnt even using distractor trinket, and that Rodger doesnt even ask nicely and went toxic.
I was an extractor pebble the other day, and a Sprout got mad at me for not wanting to distract lol It was funny seeing how angry they got at me because I had extractor trinkets and because I chose to not distract the twisteds 💀 The Sprout who was angry at me said something along the lines of: "I wouldn't be at 1 heart if the Pebbles would actually do their job and DISTRACT" We weren't even near the double-digit floors when they lost a heart And they called me useless when I told them "I'm an extractor pebble ✨" which had me and a friend I was in a voice call with over discord laughing lmao

tisha has high skill check, while goob does not have any extractor qualitys, as he only have normal skill check, lower extraction rate and lower stealth (which means he will be noticed more often, so less time to do machines)

Same thing happened to me when I met a toxic Vee in a run and I was just extracting cause I wasn't even good at distracting at first I only picked goob cause he was my favorite character and then Vee started to throw insults at me and the others were defending me and a few floors Vee died and we were all happy
btw you dont have to equip goob if you wanna play even though hes your best toon you can just use another toon if you dont wanna get forced to distract 3:48 because goob has high stamina but tisha has low stamina but 4 movement speed so she is a distractor and a survivalist and goob is a support and a distractor goob can pull you out of danger i understand you want to play as him and get his mastery but he is quite not fit to be an extractor if you dont wanna distract the just be da hero of the server by pulling ok done have a nice day

of course everyone HAD skill issues when they WERE beginners. but they will learn to be better when they play more. but instead of doing that, this rodger chose to rely on distractors and forced that goob to distract. honestly, its upsetting me how much ppl rely on distractors these days. “who distract??” in the beginning of almost EVERY public runs. of course distractors are required in private runs, as theres so many twisteds later on. but not being able to survive two twisteds without a distractors definitely shows how “skilled” you are in this game

huh? you dont need "speed trinkets" to distract, your walk will keep you outpaced from the twisted, so it's not really an excuse.

Legit had this experience today with a Razzel and Dazzel. They were asking if I could distract and I said no cuz I’m not good at it and I’m not a fan of it. They went on a rant over “but people expect it” and “just use someone else”. Like I’m sorry??? Distractions aren’t a requirement. If you’re super over reliant on one, then that just shows how you play.

fr distractors make dw players not know the basic survival skills 😭 whenever i first played the game, i played it solo (cause of the typical starter toon crap) and because of that i dont need to rely on distractors cause i know how to kite for a short while and lose LOS. people having distractors in their public runs dont teach them anything, nd when they dont have one, they waste all their stamina and isnt even able to survive a slow twisted like shrimpo.
Kiting exists so people can get through floors faster and do machines without getting spotted 20 times.

Yea, I don't like it when "distractor" toons don't distract, but I'm not that ridiculous about it. I only get mad if they don't say anything. There's nothing wrong with being an extractor pebble, but just say "I'm not distracting." If Goob was meant to distractor he would've gotten a different ability like pebble did. (Pebble's old active was to sniff out items, now that's his passive. His new ability is an airhorn-like bark.)

Qwel/ Qwelver legitimately said you can play as any style you want. say you want to distract as 2 star movement speed toon you just need trinkets! (Speed trinkets to be exact) "Distractor" toons need atleast participation award and magnifying glass to extract faster 2 star extraction speed probably becomes 3 or 4 star extraction speed. while 1 star extraction speed becomes 3 star extraction speed. That's how good the combo is.

Like, if you need a distractor that bad, maybe you should learn how to play as one (or just get better at the game), and then you'd see why nobody wants to distract. Not only is it boring, and you get less than HALF the ichor than everyone (while having to work harder than everyone on top of that) else who has time to screw around, do machines, pick up items, etc, but it also gives me carpel tunnel in my wrist from prolonged periods of time. I'm an extractor pebbles and i'm always the last one standing while those baby ragers don't even make it to floor 10 lol.

Goob has low stealth and good speed which makes it great for distracting, but distractor role never existed. It was just ppl making a fanmade role and also goob wasnt even using distractor trinket, and that Rodger doesnt even ask nicely and went toxic.

tisha has high skill check, while goob does not have any extractor qualitys, as he only have normal skill check, lower extraction rate and lower stealth (which means he will be noticed more often, so less time to do machines)
