*When I say copied and pasted I don't mean that as an insult, in this case, the talent to recreate the Sims 2 lot for lot and townie to townie is just incredible!
Obviously to recreate the Sims 2 in the Sims 4 you have to copy what was done in the Sims 2.. that's the whole point. So props to the creator! I love this so much.

Your game looks very nice with all the skins and terrain replacements.
Pleasantview, Strangetown and Bluewater Village (Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Newcrest+Magnolia Promenade) was made using only/mostly Base game and Get to Work, so more people can try it out. Other worlds have minimal requirements too. That probably adds more to the simplicity.
I wanted for Mortimer, Cassandra and Alexander to forget Bella (so it's more difficult for them to find her, not just a simple phone call), but your sims cannot forget their family members, so that's why they know all of these ghosts. Mortimer forgot about Bella, so Dina could marry him for money.
One last trivia - every sim carries a bio book in their inventory, so you can read something about them.

Great save file :) . I used to only play with my own sims in the sims 2 when I was little. I only started playing with the sims 2 pre made sims recently and got surprised with how much lure they have . 🙂
I love the lore of the previous sims games, and I am slowly creating my own save, with references to different characters. Makes the game so much more interesting! :)
I especially love all the puns in the names, and all the messed up relationships. "Kitty Curious", who happens to be dead (curiosity killed the cat). Michael Bachelor. (so you *know* he is single). The Roth family. The curnal (literally) and his children names. There is just missing a lot of iconic characters and intrigue in the new game.
I love the lore too. I wish sims 4 had as much more as this!

I didnt play much of sims 2 either. Sims 3 was my life though in elementary school
I started with sims 2 because that’s why my mother had at the time and she introduced me to the sims. but the sims 3 was already out and I wanted it so bad 😂
