Thanks for the info, to be honest I didn't hack a Comm Array on Microtech yet in 3.19.1 patch. Need to check that out and find another "blind spot" for turrets!
Great tips. Last time I tried that, the array looked different (or it was just another one) and you could squeeze a very small ship right under the entrance but here thats all flat walls, so great positioning. I would just have been afraid to be missiled again after leaving the ship but the defense seems not to care anymore👍
Thank you very much. Yeah, they changed Comm Array stations a bit. Not sure is there any relation but I turn off my engines every time when leaving the ship, maybe if there is no engine signature, station won't fire missiles on parked ships. Just switch all power to shields. That won't save your ship from live players but mine was saved couple of times from NPC's.
@@pbond21 It is Overlord "Stinger" heavy armor set available in subscribers store. But you can find it in game loot boxes. If everything goes as planed in saturday or sunday I will release a video where I will explain where you can find a ton of rare stuff and parts of pledged armors like this one here 😉
Yes, because when you do Illegal Monitors Detected missions you are actually allowed to be near the Comm Array without getting fired with defense turrets.
Me and my wife go together and she will keep getting the mission that appears when you try to take the comm array off.. and then the one that comes to reactivate it.. so we can do what we need without some one trying to play hero and activate them back on..
Yes, It is Overlord "Stinger" armor set and it is available on RSI web store only if you are a subscriber! But you can find this armor in game loot boxes. Try to play "Retrieval OP" mission around Daymar, Cellin and Yela and there is a chance you find this armor.
I'm trying to do this now, but the server is not letting me insert the tigersclaw. Doing it when you have the surveillance mission wasn't patched was it?
No it is not patched, that is a bug. What you need to do in this case is go back to your ship, fly away from comm array station and go to your ship bed, logout and login back until you find a working comm array card insert slot.
@@EdibleClown Nope, you will need to start the mission again, but honestly, you don't need surveillance mission active. You can easily approach to the station and be safe from turret fire.
@LORDV4DERONP1LLS, just to share, this hack on Unautorized surveillance mission works for the entire system. If you accept this mission on Cruzader for example, you can access ANY comm array on this system. Make a test and let me know... ;)
So what can you do after hacking the comm array? Go to a bunker and it does not detect you ? Great video btw I'm a new player trying to figure out the things :)
First, welcome to Star Citizen. Exactly, you will not get a crime stat for killing npc's or real player if comm-array is down. You can for example attack bunkers on Hurston in search for awesome Artimex Elite armor, or attack Kareah station and find Crusader Elite Security Armor, or play pirate and wait foe people in hot spots when they load their ships with cargo...a lot of posibilities 😉
@alexandremauris2904 No problem, glad I could help, Organizations are a great way to play this game, you can surely join one if you prefer to play with others, I can recommend you Cobro Force Organization - robertsspaceindustries.com/orgs/COBROFORCE/
You also can do "merc contracts" under personal which tends to be outside the law, for example "Breach and steal" kill bunch of cops on the reclaimer, take the package, go to grim hex without a crime stat because the comm array is down. It's a worry free method to do these "criminal' and merc contracts.
Yeah, I hope they will fix this in the next patch. Usually I just try to change server until I find a working one. Just use a ship with a bed, fly away from a Comm Array station for like 10-15km and use your bed to log out. Log in and try again.
Too bad it's outdated now, array defence is so buffed up now that you wouldn't be able to approach like this. After 30s trespassing you get missiles in your face, and if you survive and get close, you get shot by turrets, which don't have any LoS problem anymore when hiding behind the solar panels. Only viable way I managed lately is coming with a dragonfly or an equivalent which wont be detected
save the cash and run a few bunker missions, you'll come away with tons of tigersclaws from the loot boxes
Thanks for the info. I've found them by doing a Reclaimer mission too.
Great video! Do the arrays stay down indefinitely until someone brings them back online? Or will they come back on after a while automatically?
Thanks, glad you like the video. Comm array will stay down until someone brings it back online!
Good stuff!
In lastest version, comm-array on Microtech orbit has four remote turrets. So leaving your ship between wings not an option anymore.

after hacking I take always the mission repair the connection, so no one is gooing to reinstall the server
Yes, that is a smart move, thanks for advice!
Hello, does Illegal Monitors Detected missions (like all the ones available on Microtech for example) allow you to do the same in the easy way?
