I'm working on a JGS kit right now. Have another lined up for Summer with the Masters and another on the way that I just love the artwork for. The confetti is tedious but it's been worth all that work in the end. Still, Jade and Serena did such an AMAZING job on this hand charted kit! I can see why they wouldn't offer them in a bunch of different sizes. They'd have to rechart each kit in the "pixel" style at each size and it'd be a lot of extra work for them. This looks so nice though. I went back and watched your other video and it's a massive difference! Also, I really love what Jade does with her special drills. Like you said, you have to trust the process. I just ordered 1 each of AB, Glimmer, Crystal and Metallic for my current JGS WIP and so far, the way they're implemented has been perfect. I wouldn't do that again now that I understand how enhancements work on her shop. But she did things with them I never would have thought to do and it just looks so nice! Jaded Gem Shop is hands down my favorite small shop out there right now. She is CRUSHING it!
Just hearing the excitement in your voice about this painting makes me hope that you can start it sometime soon and work on it for a WIP n Chat. It looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing, Katie. I can't wait to see you work on these! I have not worked on any JGS kits yet but hope to soon. Hope you have a great weekend!
I'm working on the 80x80 hybrid charted crop right now! It's ALL CONFETTI. But it's gorgeous, and the scales in the hybrid chart version are absolutely stunningly rendered. It's a more realistic feel, where this one feels a little more anime/cartoons? Both are stunning.
I know this is a huge ask, but if you have it in you to do the two versions of this kit and then do a side by side completed comparison that would be SO COOL. But only if you really feel you have it in you and that's something you'd want to do. I love this artwork so much.
Hi Katie. Great video! I’m already a JGS fan but am excited to have even more options. I’ve heard Jade talk about the hand rendering but thanks for really crystallizing what the differences are. I’m a confetti fan overall, but also love to change things up and keep it interesting so I will for sure try a hand-rendered kit from Jade at some point (right now awaiting 9 canvases from her - so it will have to wait for my next order). Thanks so much and have a great rest of your day!
Hi Katie, good morning from Los Angeles County. Beautiful, adorable canvas. I don't have any kits from Jaded Gem Shop. A bit out of my price range. I must say she is a very brave Mermaid having Cats for pets.
I must say I love some of Jaded Gem Shop canvases but I’m just not a fan of pixel looking paintings, I love more hand charted images This looks great with the updates!!! Love your unboxing ❤
That looks so good! I would love to see a comparison but I know that's a lot of work. I may have to get this one in pixel charting since I have it in the original charting already and try it myself.
Interesting...I recently completed the 60x60 cropped "hybrid rendered" version of this painting and it is very different from this rendering. It was extremely confetti heavy but I love the finished effect 🤔
OMG im early!. i love your videos, they have inspired me to do quite a few diamond art paintings. Honestly diamond art is just the purest way of relaxing (although your hands does get cramped up a bit) :)
I’m sorry if I was misleading! I was intending for it to show the original artwork next to the digital render in the pixel/hand-charted style, and how similar they look! ☺️
@@DiamondsandWashi Sweet! Or even if you get a quick minute to put them in a supplement video. Wouldn't even need to be more than five minutes of just the comparison break down between canvases. But I know you have a TON coming up to get done. LOL
Oh this looks phenomenal! I'd love to see a comparison. Also, would you recommend JGS recommended sizing on paintings? I don't know if they are too small or just right 😅
I love a bunch of her kits….its not the kit price that’s the problem for me….its the fact that I live in Canada….shipping to here cost like 65 dollars….it’s bananas so I have to be extra certain on my choices when I order.
Same. I'm in Australia, and shipping to here is way too much, something like 80 AUD. A single kit would cost in excess of 300 AUD before that. I added one kit to my basket a while back, just to see because I absolutely adored it; with shipping and currency conversion is was over 400. For 1 kit + shipping. It will never be justifiable for me to spend that much for a single kit. It's why I mainly stick to DAC: a discount code with each purchase, free shipping (usually!) and for 400, if I had it to spare, I could get 5 - 7 kits, size depending.
I’m not sure if you watched this video, but this is actually a new option in charting style! As far as the prices go, I also talked in this video about the reasons why they are what they are, but of course it’s going to be subjective if you feel the features match the price point and what you’re looking for in your diamond painting kits!
Oh I hope you do this soon Katie I really would love to see a comparison side by side😊
Came here to say this!
😅 I wish I could get this one but unfortunately shipping to Canada is a lot😢
Thanks for presenting this! ❤
I’d love to see the comparison of the two different styles of rendering. I don’t want a real pixelated DP. Thanks for the review!
Thanks, Katie. Would love to see a comparison between the 2 rendering styles from Jaded Gem Shop
Beautiful rendering💖💎
Once you end up doing both canvases, I’d love to see a comparison between the two canvases! It’s such a gorgeous kit.
Please do a comparison video of the two different charting styles. Would love to see them side by side!
Looks really good 👍🏻

I would love to see a comparison of both kits completed...tfs

I see a comparison in the future! Not that Im rushing you to do it but it will be nice to see whenever you get a chance to. Great review of this!

I’ve only been eyeing this every day since she put it on the site. I didn’t realize there were so many special drills! Brb, adding to cart now 😅
I would love to see a comparison of the two renders!!

I thought we were going to see the comparison shown in the thumbnail to this video ✨️

@DiamondsandWashi No, you weren't being misleading at all! I'm sorry if my comment came across accusatory 🌷
Good Morning!!!
Any chance we can get the canvases next to each other?
Unfortunately I didn’t have the other version handy, but if I do a full comparison, that’ll be part of it for sure!

I tend to be happy with the recommended sizes, yes! I usually end up buying one size up from the smallest offered, and in squares.
I love a bunch of her kits….its not the kit price that’s the problem for me….its the fact that I live in Canada….shipping to here cost like 65 dollars….it’s bananas so I have to be extra certain on my choices when I order.
Same here I really want to order but the shipping is so costly to Canada😢

I really like their stuff but it’s so expensive, over $100 for one piece.
Very $$$ 😬
I really wanted to love this company but, I very much dislike
The charting and prices are absurd
