First off, thank you!, I kept coming back to view your Volca Keys and Roland S1 videos to the point I had to purchase them both and begin my own synth journey. I found it easy to follow and understand, and frankly….it sounds great. You inspired me and helped to build confidence that I too could make ambient tracks for my Ariel drone landscape videos without the hassle of copyright strikes on YT. Big thumbs up from me and sub’d your channel.
Amico mio un viaggio! Grazie! Continua a fare video sull’ s1 per favore, sono pochi quelli del tuo canale e grazie a te sto imparando un sacco di cose! Grazie di cuore.
Just getting started with my S1 and love it. Using it with my Ipad and it’s all I need. Have Volca Keys as well and wish there was a way to get the Volca audio out into the S1’s USB audio stream out. Other than a hardware hack, I don’t see a way to do this. Am I missing anything ?
As far as I know the USB audio streams only the internal audio, but I'm not 100% sure. the mix in seems to bypass all the circuits of the S-1 since also the effects don't apply.
Nice idea, I have both these units, so I'll give it a try! Just curious though, why you took the trouble to set the Keys' LFO to a square wave, when you don't seem to use the LFO?
never thought to do this... i have 6 volcas to pair with my s1 and now, much less time for other activities. liked and subbd

I'm so glad you found inspiration and motivation, that's exactly what I intended to do with my video. Have a great music journey! Cheers
Wow really nice! Well done!
Bellissimo, che viaggio!
Mi fa pensare a certi lati B dei dischi degli Ash Ra Tempel
Awesome meditation music. Makes me wonder what this could be like with the volca bass or even nubass. 🔥🔥🔥
They would work great too I'm sure
Gorgeous texture & atmosphere on this !
Really beautiful!

Va bene penso che ne farò ancora!
Quality !! 😎 I'm gonna try this, thanks
You are welcome
Just got the S-1. Need to invest in the Volca. I assume your red cable is into a DAW via your audio interface
You are correct.
What is the silver device on the back of the Volca Keys?
It's a midi thru port I added with a modification.
This is beautiful!

Indeed, why I did so? 🤣 Maybe I had something in my mind but didn't bdobit in the end 😅
Very nice performance 👍
Good one! Thank you 🙂
awesome!
Nice
❤❤❤
That "rocks" !
😮😮😮😍😍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
I'd avoid the Roland S-1. It does not support MIDI Volume (CC07), making automated mixing impossible. Roland really screwed up this time
I understand. It's a major issue for those who use this feature. Too bad really, seems like a simple thing to implement.
