Though she tried to hide, keep the truth buried inside
When she closed her eyes at night
She heard a voice over and over it said

I’m the echo in the dark

You have signed and now you’re mine
This girl used to be the worlds illumination
Unpredictable and free in a self made creation
Then she signed her life away without a second glance
