Funny this came up on my You👍tube page . I was on the Hollywood construction crew that built the sets for the first Jurassic and the Helipad was my set . The only way we got there each day was to fly in Bruce Robinsons helicopter up that canyon . It was the helicopter in the movie but not the interior in the movie that was a set . I have lots of photos it was a Great time until hurricane INIKI came a cat 4 and we were stuck there a few days then they got us out ... Good memories
Wow, that is an awesome story to share with me about the falls. That was special to be able to land there and walk over to the falls. It was fun flying up the canyon to get there as well. The most impressive sights were after we left and flew up above those falls and saw waterfalls everywhere. The Jurassic falls is certainly a once in a lifetime experience.
But, did you at any point think you could have done the Doors-off one vs this?
I wanted to do the doors off, but I could not find one that could land at the falls and have doors off. Next time I will go with the doors off.
