Very helpful. I am working on a friend's rzr170 that sat in the woods for a few years. It was a mess. I was trying to figure all this out and then found the service manual. Got it all routed, but that had the same issue with hooking up the float bowl vent to the dual intake valve. Thanks for confirming. It made sense once I took the dual intake valve apart and saw the diaphram, knowing that would not allow the bowl to vent.

Any idea why there would be no vacuum coming off the crank case to the fuel pump?
Replaced the fuel pump (and carb) but I am not getting any vacuum off the hose that goes to the pump.

I have the same machine and it runs fine however it loses prime after sitting for a week or so…. If i pressurize the fuel tank with a compressor it will fire up? Is it possibly a hole in the line? Anyone ?
@@jeffnewton5482 haven’t really looked into it further; however I’ve found a quick shot of starting fluid into the breather port between the two seats will give it enough to start the vacuum and it will run on its own. So I just keep a can of starting fluid handy and give it a squirt.
I'm having problems with it flooding out of the bowl vent. After running for a minute or so???
Your float needle is set to high or its leaking, allowing to gas to run over. I use a small pressure gauge (mityvac brake bleeder) that I hook up to the fuel inlet on the carb. Usually I shoot for 4-6 psi with carb flip upside down so the float is closing the needle and seat. If your needle is leaking you’ll see and hear the pressure drop when you pump it up.
Guys my sons machine runs fine until we cross a puddle thats relatively deep and then it stalls out. ive been told theres a carburetor vent hose that can be routed higher and will prevent this? anyone had the same issue?
