Man, this remake has so many things going on. Better speed cap, functional Spindash and Custom Gems, Rainbow Gem and Super Sonic, Tails has his Tail Swipe AND Dummy Rings, both and he Silver have a better speed cap, Silver's Psychic Shot. You guys have done a really wonderful job, and I can't wait to see more of it, whether it's Shadow, or improving on these three (wishing that Silver also gets his Psychic Knife and Super form eventually). This not only shows the loads of potential 06 had, but also what an updated Adventure style could do in competent, crafty hands with ingenuity. So refreshing to see after a crapload of boring Boost fangames.
The Den Yeah man, tell me about it. No disrespect to the people behind the production of those boost fan games, because I’m sure it’s very time consuming, but they’re part of the problem. Them releasing those types of games is basically their message to SEGA and Sonic Team that the boost formula is beloved and it should stay. It is actually the opposite, people are getting sick of it. Even if some people like it, I’m pretty sure that most people in the community want it gone. There’s a good reason for this, it objectively does not belong in a Sonic game, and the inclusion of a “go fast button” is a horrible idea for a gameplay mechanic. As good as “Sonic Colors” and “Sonic Generations” might’ve been, the boost formula is still a problem that needs to be fixed. Acting like a problem doesn’t exist isn’t helping anybody, least of all Sonic.

It's cool to see both gameplay archetypes in the same stage. First, the more grounded and controllable Sonic Adventure gameplay, and after that the Boost gameplay during the chase section. It's amazing how they both can work together for a great gameplay experience.
Honestly sega should just hire these guys already on support them a bit on bugg fixes and let them release it on steam and split the income xD I would gladly buy it!

I used to have Sonic in such a high place in my favorite franchises back in the day, and the PS3/Xbox360 games (I didn't have either of those consoles, just an old Gamecube) were the reason why.

This is absolutely amazing! I wish sonic 06 was a good game and this pretty much makes it great! I wish all the levels were in the game but that would take so much work. Either way this is an amazing remake.
there's been updates to this project i recommend u try it out it's really fun. There's the complete sonic and shadow levels right now and the next update will bring silvers
Fun fact: Speedy blue hedgehogs are not the only creatures that can slide on the surface of the water. Humans can do it too! However, you'll need a boat, jet ski rope thingy, and the skill and bravery to water ski with ur body.

PyroMaker3 Dummy Rings are cool though. They’re an invention by Tails to electrocute enemies. He used them in the game gear games too.
