When she was what she used to be. It's tragic to see what Baltimore has become.

The first film was narrated by Garry Moore, of "I've Got A Secret" and "To Tell the Truth". Moore is a Baltimorean. The second is narrated by Jerry Turner. Both are from 1964 and were from WJZ-TV. The second film, "What is A Baltimorean?" was probably an early assignment for the popular Turner; he joined Thirteen originally as a staff announcer, but he was assigned to the Eyewitness News team in 1964.

I was born, and raised in Baltimore in the 60's, and 70's when it was a nice place to raise a family. And then came the 80's, and that's when it started to go down hill. And now, you could not pay me enough money to ever move back there.

What if I told you it was done purposely, still is. I grew up there during the same era, my ancestors were sea captains there for generations. Look up UN/WEF agenda 2030, the bridge was no accident.

70s murder rate was terrible in Baltimore. Up there with Philadelphia and New York City, difference was Baltimore's violent crime was based on de facto segregation. It was only good if you lived in nice areas like Frankford or Loch Raven. Today, now even those areas have crime

A city that no matter your beginnings you come to get robbed and beaten. However crime is down to zero here just ask our mayor or a member of the esteemed city council who's president wife was the top prosecutor, explaining why he's not been prosecuted.

Was going to watch it but the added in watermark and the stopwatch running at the bottom are to distracting. This is what happens when someone takes historical film and "makes it their own" for copyright purposes.

These videos are sad. This was what it looked like before the people who loved the city were chased out by crime. Now its a shell of its once prosperous self.

Baltimore is a prime example of how racism can destroy a great city!

I wish you could detail that, because whites did not force blacks to destroy Balto.

@@vincentbugalia3858no y'all just forced us into poverty. Let's not forget the 80s and early Southwest Baltimore and pigtown the white boys there with jump on black people if they were by their self in the neighborhood.

Couldn't have said it better. Not just one or 2 districts either but damn near the whole city and out to the county now as well. DESTROYED.

@vincentbugalia3858 Really, and I can detail how white people have destroyed the environment and to human life.
whites allowed housing in Baltimore city to become what it is today.
They refused to do repairs and white officials punishment was a 15 dollars fine.
      😊
