You’ve just convinced me to change to weft extensions. I’ve been using tapes and honestly the process of putting them in then taking them out and washing it and re taping them bruh it’s too much
They're aluminum. IDK if aluminum is magnetic

Do you find with this hair from JZ there is minimal shedding ?? I love the weft sew in, but I can never find hair that doesn’t shed like a dog 😩

Also : do you wash the extensions before applying them ?There’s always colored water coming off at the beginning for darker ones 🤮
Do not apply tape in extentions on dirty hair. You need to wash your BIO hair with a clearifying shampoo twice and do not use any conditioner after the shampoo.

Ok, but this was so fun to watch- you had me cracking up! I usually have to watch multiple videos to figure out the best, most sensible way to do something but this was a one-stop-shop. Thanks for making this insightful and entertaining to watch. Now for a late-night weft install...🤪
Also if you make sure the bead is flat to your head by holding the pliers flat and parallel to your head or even slightly tilt the pliers down away from your head and then flatten the bead. This will reduce tension and breakage ☺️ aka you don’t want your bead popping out from your head or pushed up to far. When you push up the bead, hold the hair strand flat against your head/ where it lays and stop whenever you get resistance and that’s where you should close the bead

Hairdresser of 15 years hear!.. beads & Tapes on Oily hair is just asking for a disaster!! If you haven't had problems with this then fair play to you! 👏But for the majority! Please! PLEASE!!! double wash your hair with shampoo and no conditioner near the roots if attempting this 😂 you will thank me later ❤❤❤
Where do you buy your wefts and do they have that itchy short part at the top!? 😅
They have hybrid wefts now! It’s a combination of hand tied and machine so they can be cut, and they don’t have a return (the short itchy part). Search hybrid or genius wefts. If you aren’t able to find them, flip the weft over so the return is facing up and not rubbing against the scalp. You can even thin them (carefully!) using thinning shears.

Just tried tape ins for my first time in feb for my bday but they didn't last as long as i thought they would after washing so Your video has inspired me to try beaded ext next! 😂

A few tips for tape ins: they will adhere best if your hair is clarified clean, no conditioner. Don’t wash for 2 days after install, and try not to condition the roots as a rule or use oils.

Wash your hair before tape ins. No silicones. Only shampoo. Lasts longer😊
5:10 what do you mean you sew the sides? Im just learning about extentions so excusr the question if it seems super obvious. Also how low do you attach from the root? Should it be snug up against the scalp or should it be a little lower ( how much?) to hide the track/bead better?
After you tie the 1st knot- when u sew the rest of the track on how many stitches are you doing and how close? Is it like, one stitch per bead/hair or way more than that?
