    In part 2 Bearing installation, you could also have set the vise opening such that it is open enough just for the crankshaft to fit through. Then put the engine onto it vertically nose down, then install the rear bearing. That would eliminate the front bearing from coming out. Of course using an arbor press would do the same thing and be a bit better. I also have many Saito reassembly videos on my channel that would help you in the future. Ha Ha, your setup for setting the valve clearance is extravagant and way over kill IMO. Using feeler gauges is the old school way to do it. I also have several videos showing that.

    She came up nice and clean. What glue did you use to stick the badge back on? I need to do the same on my Saito 300T rebuild.

      Hi Stuart, just a 5 min epoxy. Hopefully it will hold up to the heat, but time will tell!

    Tappet settings are 0.4 not 3 or 4 thou.
