Online assessments usually allow you to do some note-taking, either on paper or as part of the online tools. It would be a bit different in the sense that you could write down what you're looking for. These strategies do work best on paper-based tests but you can apply them to computer-based assessments as well.

Well-designed choices usually have an element of truth. That's why it's important to use the elimination strategies I give whenever possible. They won't always work, though.
