Time Is Money! When will people understand That the more time and work Means The More Money for the product. There is one thing where I would offer criticism. The girl who purchases her wine glasses from the Dollar Tree; I am worried about the sustainability of the glass. I know it is not the glass that we are paying for but instead the artwork and time it took to create. It would be a shame to put in all that work and skill into your product for it to break the first time it is dropped. I would suggest investing in a higher quality wine glass. People are going to want to drink out of that glass and show it off to their friends; The wine glass need to be sturdy and unfortunately I am afraid you are not going to find that at the Dollar Tree. They do have some very thick glasses and some Thin glasses. I suggest purchasing a few of them and doing a test to see which one is the strongest; Then use that glass for your product. But there are some amazing products at the Dollar Tree; they have plenty of craft supplies That are made well and they carry name brand. I am just advising to be careful when choosing your canvas (glasses) You do not want customers to give your business a bad reputation because of the glasses you chose. You can have spectacular artwork but the moment you drop your glass and it shatters. This is helpful criticism From a fellow artist Who wants to see you and your work thriving. I understand what it's like to put hours upon hours into your work; I understand what it's like to have cramped knuckles and early arthritis because I use my hands with so much passion To the point they cramp and hurt when doing simple tasks. I do not want to see an artist put so much passion and work into their products Only to have it ruined by a faulty canvas.

I previously saw a video of a girl sticking a Victoria secret pink logo on cheap Walmart slippers and selling it. Like people don’t just purchase brands for the logo they’re also getting it for the quality as well . And I have a strong feeling she won’t mention they’re from Walmart she’ll just say it’s a dupe. I agree though people should charge up based on how much and long they revamped items.
Definitely agree, we don't even know if it's safe to drink out of it, i mean, I get that they've put alot of time decorating it and customizing it but if we're paying for it in a decent price, might as well level up the quality of the product.

Glass A is $5.00=weak glass Glass B is $10.00=stronger glass Then have a price for the artwork And Add the price of the glass together. Remember These people are just starting out.

Chefs don’t wear gloves when they cook because 1. Gloves actually pick up more bacteria if you don’t get a new set every time you touch something and 2. It’s harder to bake and cook with gloves. We sanitize before cooking and she probably let her finger heal before getting back to work.

F_lloutboy a good way to start is to find what your good at, any talents at all and then find a way to profit off of it. For example if your good at picking out outfits you could recommend and buy cloths that your clients would enjoy.
If you were par gloves but don’t change or wash them THEY ARE NOT SANITARY I see all these people wearing gloves and then doing ultiple orders with the same pear if you wash your hands regularly and well it is sanitary

Wouldn't alot of these businesses be in trouble for using copyright images though? You can't make money off someone else's brand or images (like animal crossing)
Most bakers don't wear gloves unless they're doing like a mass batch of cookies or something. It's more sanitary and eco friendly to wash your hands before and after baking a cake. Unless they're switching out their gloves in between every cake they bake (which is a waste of money and if they're using those cheap disposable plastic gloves like most people do, then it's also bad for the planet) then it's not sanitary at all. All the grime that collects on those gloves collects in your food and most people don't switch gloves.

As a baker, we don't really wear gloves, but we can asure that before and after we bake, we always wash our hands twice

Do y'all have any tips on how to market your business? Because I just opened and I'm struggling to get the word out!
I have a small business, here are some tips and tricks:
- start small, don't make too much of your product( in case it doesn't sell well)
- buy good packaging( if your shipping) for me I just deliver locally because it's cheaper when your just starting
- stick to simple packaging, nothing fancy ( like a bag and a sticker)
- you can find some cheap packaging on amazon or aliexpress
- buy what you need for your products on sale/clearance or in bulk(it's cheaper)
- set a budget for what you need to buy
- make sure to pay yourself for the time it took to make the product(if it's handmade)
- find a price that not too expensive but you'll make some profit
- you can add extra's but it's not essential
- remember people are buying your products for the product, not the lollipop and sticker that comes with it
- Don't let people devalue your products, only you can decide what the value is
- Have a catchy name or something that people will remember
- stick to a color theme, the design is important
- advertise on multiple social media's (youtube, TikTok, Instagram)
- self-promo will help
- support other small businesses and they'll support you ( it doesn't always mean buying, sharing will help too!)

Most bakers don't wear gloves unless they're doing like a mass batch of cookies or something. It's more sanitary and eco friendly to wash your hands before and after baking a cake. Unless they're switching out their gloves in between every cake they bake (which is a waste of money and if they're using those cheap disposable plastic gloves like most people do, then it's also bad for the planet) then it's not sanitary at all. All the grime that collects on those gloves collects in your food and most people don't switch gloves.
