Jackie & Ernest were top 10 World (high) ranking musicians. Also Don Drummond ( top4) Monty Alexander keyboardist. The late Skatalite Trumpeter Johnny Moore said on a radio programme that Monty Alexander wanted to play with the Skatalites but they couldn't take him in with them because he was schoolboy attending JC and a Rich uptown lad and is a family member the well established sophicated Alexander clan.On the opposite side the Skatalites members were Bob Marley puffers and back then law was very strict against sensi' smoking.
This was originally done in 1978 and never got a Jamaican repressing only was repressed in NYC around 1980-81 this is the exact repressing my dad bought in the early 80's in nyc and if u look at the left side of the vinyl its a repressing from Fulton Street Brooklyn NY and C. DODD didn't move to NYC UNTIL mid 1980
