      Some time I have to go in distillery plant near turbine , centrifugal running condition pumps I think ear plug is not enough to protect ear from noise more than 100 decible in this situation which ear plug insuitable to protect ear above 100 to 130 decible

      Actual me three type hi hota hai.
      But tmhre syllabus me sonic sound krke bhi diya hua hai.
      To sonic sound ka ye definition ho skta hai-
      Waisa noise jiska mach number 1 ho jaye.
      Means speed of given sound speed of sound in standard medium ke equal ho jaye then mach no. 1 ho jata hai.
      Tb us sound ko sonic sound bol skte hai.

      Mach no. Se pta chalta hai ki koi bhi element sonic hai, ya hypersonic, ya supersonic.
      For example - Air me sound ki maximum speed 320 km/s ke around hai
      Air me agr hame koi aisa noise mile jiski speed 320 ke around ho tb mach no. 1 ho jata.
      Bcz dono ka speed same hai.
      Maximum speed ke equal ho gya us sound ka speed.
      Us condition me bole ge ki sonic noise hai

      Part B ka bs ek automobile wala hi remaining hai
      Baki sara ho gya hai. Automobile ka last me kra dun ga.

    wrong formula Kyu sikha raheho bhai ??? 20 log * (power1/power2) is the correct formula

      There r 2 formula for sound intensity in dB.
      I hav collected this data from standard book and verified from many sites.
      If u will take amplitude then u hav to take 20 log (....).
      So, u r also right. But not in terms of power.
      For calculating sound intensity in decibel, my formula is correct.
      U can check it on many sites and book.
