I'm an opera singer myself but I teach all styles: most of my students sing pop. If you're interested in what kind of singer you are, go check out singwel.eu.

Dear Linor, please please react with Nani to the song " I stand accused
" by Randy Crawford from the album raw silk. It would be VERY exciting for me. LG Ralf

Hi Linor. I have loved your reviews of little miss Claire Crosby. I do wish either you or Cheryl Porter would become her voice coach. Claire suffers from being denied proper professional coaching not just vocals but also life style and choreography coaching. Alas she has no stage presence. She is great when doing studio recordings but her live performances leave a lot to be desired. I think alot of her problems come from the amount of auto tune that is used. You once called her an artist and so she is. But sadly is in dire need of professional help. I don't think they have any knowledge of the different ways they could use instead of auto tune. I know you are one of the best voice coaches around the world and I know you know and understand a young female voice and I hope you can help this young lady but at the end of the day it is down to her parents and rightly so.

I am a massive fan of Claire Crosby. She now has a voice coach who has only just started working with her so hopefully greater things to come. One to keep an eye on!

@@edgegymnastics8409I had a conversation recently about a professional voice coach for Claire. But her parents have for some reason refused all professional help. If she wants to take up singing as a career they are holding her back. She needs not just a professional voice coach but also she has no stage presence an

Sounds like she has a ton of empathy, so even if she doesn't have the personal experience she has the ability to understand others emotions.

Her first published song on guitar. So I’m sure she was trying to focus on those chords. I’m just amazed she can play and sing. But she’s been playing the ukulele for a couple of years

I think she was 5 years old when she first started strumming chords on a ukulele in a ( Million Dreams ), check it out! Talented or what.

Would you mind reacting to Angelina Jordan? She's probably the youngest professional singer with a record deal right now and she's a rising star. Her style's not mainstream, it's influenced by very old jazz (Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra...) and also Amy Winehouse. Her voice has a unique timbre: breathy, raspy, deep (contralto) and she's got a beautiful natural vibrato. I recommend to check out her cover of "I put a spell on you" (the black and white video when she was 9 years old), it's fascinating from a singer's point of view.

The version of shallow when she was 7 was in the privacy of her own home. When she was 10 she did a street performance in Seattle and performed Shallow there. She was clearly very nervous but did smile at the end when she got a rapturous round of applause at the end.

Would love to see you react to some Maneskin, Italian rock band who just won Eurovision.
They have this throwback rock sound that sounds incredible.
Don’t just do the Eurovision song though as they have put out some awesome stuff.
Covers aside they produce their own stuff with the lead singer doing the lyrics which themselves are something not to mention their music videos which are works of art.
They have incredible energy, it’s infectious, the lead singer has a Freddie Mercury vibe about him which you might appreciate, he looks and sounds awesome.

When Claire sings up and sings out her voice is crystal clear, unfortunately Claire does not seem to sing with attitude in her voice. Maybe it will come later as she is only 8 years old.

Hi, I agree with you 100%. Claire is an artist. Sadly she is not given the luxury of professional help and guidance and it shows. I have maintained since she was 6 years old that she is not just your average kid singer. She could be so much more with professional help and guidance.

    • @edgegymnastics8409

I agree. She’s 10 now but she isn’t getting much training and she’s now singing too much in her upper register and there not much support from her diaphragm

@@edgegymnastics8409 there is alot that could be done to help this girl. Instead of auto tune try a higher octave. Sophie Thomas did just that in 2017 to win Germany Voice Kids with ( Dream on ) by Aerosmith at the age of 11. Another young lady with a beautiful voice and professional support.

I was sad a couple of weeks ago, and thought some new music might cheer me up. So I browsed a few "reactor" channels on
UA-cam to see what I could find. I found a singer who has been around since the 90's who I'd never heard, and her performances
stunned me. You may already know her. The performances were Lara Fabian singing "Caruso" in Italian, and "Je Suis Malade" in
French, and "Broken Vow" in English, and I was not sad anymore--I only regretted not hearing her work 25-30 years ago. I'm not a good
judge of how well someone sings in Italian, but I'd bet you are. So I'm going to request your reaction to Lara Fabian's "Caruso." I recall
Pavarotti singing "Caruso" with flawless technique and wonderful vocal presence--but ah... I'd rather watch Lara sing it :-)

Incredible how some singers imitate other artist's voices, accent and even timbre. Almost like parroting. And it's bit more common with female singer-songwriters I noticed. It can be really crinch. This girl however is an incredibly talented young lady. She will become a megastar no doubt. Hodl her.
