I have frequently been asked to arrange this beautiful hymn. It decided to appear this week! Listen for a hint of second hymn tune in the arrangement. Watch the wiggly strings to see the lowest pitch, which will tell you the key of the arrangement. Comment below when you've got it!
Wow, I so enjoyed playing this through slowly…just for enjoyment and stillness. My reading is getting better 🎉. Thats what the harp journey is about too…just soaking in the sound, personal accomplishment, an inner world!
What a blessing. I just came back to harp after 35 years. It is like beginning again. Now with a lever harp. Trained on a concert harp. Your music and lessons have inspired. Tysm. 🌹🦋
@@annecrosbygaudetmusic I did not have access to concert harp. I wanted to purchase my own harp. I read about the harps and decided on the Drake. I am learning about the levers on my own. I haven’t found a teacher yet. I ordered some music from your store and learning the song you wrote and using the video to learn the song. Tysm. I love your way of teaching.
@@annecrosbygaudetmusic hi. So sorry I thought I answered your question. I knew I wanted a smaller harp and the Virginia Harp Center had a Drake and it sounded great to me when the girl played it on video for me. I wanted a lower tension harp because I am now using older hands. Ugh. I love it but can’t find a teacher. So, I am having to self teach. I am learning the song you wrote, “Just For You.” I love it. You are so wonderful. I love all your videos. Hugs , Joy
What a beautiful, beautiful walk you have oh, it's so gloriously green and Lush, I love your location and your song it is so relaxing and beautiful I'm going to have to download this, print this off and work on the bracketing and all those other helpful supporting things that I have to have, beautiful Anne thank you so much.
This is really lovely to add to my list , just went through it now before work…my sight reading has improved, Im so encouraged, I find your scores are nice to read❤️🎵🎵.
Another very beautiful hymn arrangement. It is very calming and peaceful. I think it would be a great addition to my repertoire for hospice! Thank you, Anne! The beauty you convey to our world is so valuable and much needed!
So beautiful…. 💕 My son watched his beautiful bride walk down the aisle to him with this piece. Can’t wait to play it for them…. Thank you so much! I’m a “little” overcome with emotion… 🥰
This is one of my favorite hymns. I have a harp arrangement of it, but I don't care for it. Therefore, I don't practice it much nor perform it. Thanks for your arrangement! Off the the harp!!
This is absolutely gorgeous!! I know my LTC residents will love this one. I recently purchased the Old Time Favorites Medley and played last week and many of them were singing along. It’s such a joy Anne that you create such beautiful music with lovely harmonies. I’m so appreciative of your talent and dedication to composing gentle tunes that open our hearts. Now off to the store!!
Oh Anne… truly enchanting… this is a must have in any harpists repertoire. Thank you, I’m going to start busking in a couple weeks- this will be a staple piece! Truly beautiful! The video and camera shots were also very pleasant to watch ❤️😊
I really love this arrangement of one of my favorite hymns, & how you integrated the “Old One Hundredth” tune as well!! I love the gentleness & sensitivity the 4/4 meter brings - perfect for worship & harp therapy. I just bought it & am really enjoying learning it. And love the QR code to quickly get to the UA-cam video!
I am really loving this piece, Jan! And so creative how Anne wove it into “Come Thou Fount.” The common themes of water & flowing blessings make those a brilliant combination!
Beautiful! I have always had a habit of playing my music a bit too fast. But the way you transcribe your pieces beautifully translates the perfect tempo and emotion. Thank you!
This arrangement literally brought tears to my eyes! I have to drive 7 miles for an Internet connection- on my way so I can purchase this and download the music… did I hear the Doxology in the center ?stunning , Anne! Thank you 🦋💕🦋
@@annecrosbygaudetmusic Ive just downloaded this and sent your UA-cam to another beautiful harpist friend of e that lives in the South. She was floored with the beauty of this arrangement! I told her -all I ever play is your music. Your biggest Upnorth Michigan fan, Paula 🦋💕🦋
Hi Anne! The lowest wobbly string I saw was an F. Is this heavenly refrain in the key of F? Your arrangement makes me think of a slow journey, and seeing you walking along those natural paths added to that feeling for me. At the end of that slow journey is gratitude-that’s the best way I can describe how I felt. But I’m digressing. 🙂 When I finish all the watercolors, maybe I can learn this? I’ve never played anything in the key of F before! 😁
Very Nice thank You
Thank you for stopping by to listen!
I love this beautiful hymn! Excellent Rendition on the harp with beautiful scenery! Thank you so much for posting and sharing this!
Oh so beautiful and calming. Lovely arrangement and walk in the woods with you. 💕😎🙏
One of our favorite worship hymns! Thank you... this is why I want to learn harp....!!

The movement of the strings, the waterfall, the walk in forest, the music, all perfect 😍
Thank you so much!
I hope to learn many beautiful hymns from you… beginning this week ❤
I hope you have a wonderful week of practising the harp!
Lovely music and scenery. To someone in the drought ravished west the waterfall is a wonderful sight
The bridge over the waterfall is part of my daily walk route. 🙂

Are you enjoying the lighter tension of the Drake? Was that the main reason to switch?
