"Forever Mine" is the epitome of SMOOOOOOTH SOUL! I love the perfect balance between Walter Williams' buttery, velvety vocals and the powerful, gospel-tinged grit in Eddie Levert's vocals. Shout out to Sammy Strain in the middle as all three guys soulfully strut and glide on the floor. And you know a group is smooth when they can totally rock glittery, yellow suits with shoes to match!

This was my husband and my song.. My beautiful husband passed away December 1,2021 I played this song at his funeral.. You are Forever Mine Alan❤️💔
Hi dear,how are you doing?
Hello dear
My condolence to. My husband passed in January 2021.
My boyfriend was at home, while I was working and he recorded himself singing this to me. He sent me the video and all I can say is I love this man. We are both 39 and he is always surprising me with his soul music. ❤️ We have been together for a year. That same night I got home from work at 4am and he played it again and we danced in our room. This will always be one of my favorite moments. 😍 I love you Trav, 😍 🎶 We were made for each other 🎶 🎵 Stay Forever mine, you and I get along just fine!🎵 🎼🎵🎶
Imagine my surprise when i see his name is Travis like me lol n that sounds like sometime i would do. Love these oldies

Bad to the bone. Don't seem that long ago 70s to much
Hope you're singing this to your wife.
Same age and I've loved this song since a child. I always wanted my man to love me like this growing up 🤣🤣
Likewise.
My dad would sing these songs also. Lol. Good memories.
I wish us black men would listen to this more. 29 years old, grew up on hip hop and my parents listened to this. Now that I’m older I can see this was when us black men where at our peak sexual masculinity until hip hop changed our views. This is when music was made with pure love.
My husband would sing this all the time. We both loved the OJ's . He passed and it's been awhile since I could listen without crying.
Sorry for your loss! May God Bless You!
Be blessed lady.🖤
May the lord bless u and heal all ur wounds..much love❤

Happy Birthday to Eddie Levert, longtime member and co-lead singer of the legendary O'Jays, born June 16th, 1942. On June 16, 2024 he celebrated his 82nd birthday. By any measure, the O'Jays are one of the most important Soul Music groups of all-time. Whether delivering funky dance music, romantic ballads, or thoughtful social commentary in song

My hubby passed away on February 10,2022. We were married for more than 41 years, and we both respected what each of us liked differently, and we grew to appreciate who we were and melded that together. My ex-husband and first love when we were dating in 1996, one night after another one of our dates, He pulled over on the highway on 95 and I looked at him crazy cuz this was a really odd place to pull over but he was crazy like that. he turned up the radio and said I want you to listen to this song ... really listen. He started to sing along on the second verse. First time realizing that he coud sing and then he said after the song was over. "we should get married.. whatchathink biscuit?" I was 25, he was 36. Met each other when I was 16 protecting me from being bullied by some boys walking home from school. He died 4 yrs ago and we werent on the greatest of terms when he did, but I instantly thought of this song when I got the word about his heart attack and from time to time, I am reminded of this song and that period of our lives. Funny it takes someone passing to realize the things that caused you to separate are so miniscule in comparison to the things that kept you together
