Can't believe you visited my hometown and drove just next to my house and asked my neighbor for directions in Janakpur and meanwhile I am in Delhi. Thanks a lot for Visiting Janakpur, it is generally skipped by Motovloggers during the Nepal tour. And yes, the Garbage problem definitely needs to be solved in Janakpur.
@ Keiron sander. Garbage problem is prevalent everywhere in Nepal , it's just that some places you see and some you don't see, partly because it's impossible for one to travel everywhere unless you are travel blogger or photographer. If only kids are taught about proper garbage disposal right from kindergarten things would drastically change. Because young kids can highly influence their parents to change behaviours.

Just finished watching this one on my catch-up marathon today. Those drone shots really do gives that different perspective to capture the beauty of Janaki Mandir and all other places you have shown during your motorbike 🏍️ journey. The man was singing a bhajan which is quite popular in Hinduism. Sometimes people take turns singing for 24 hours. I only know this and some other things because I used to be a Hare Krishna (Vaishnav).
You should also stopby to Dharan and ride to bhedetar on your way to Ilam. You will know the culture, food and people from Rai and Limbu community..try their tongba and pork item..and riding to bhedetar is good as well. Enjoyyy

It's a shame that such a beautiful temple is surrounded by a pathetic environment. Madhesh Province government should work on sanitation outside the temple area.
Yes you are right @ridewithfrenchy, These are school kids. They are returingto their home from school at 4PM and they do ride cycle for this every day.
Pierre. Another fun fact is that Indian women( even nepalis since culture is the same) hold 11% of the world's gold in jewelry. There are several videos on this phenomenon.

But recently indians have moved ahead in leaps and bounce but bodering nepali cities are stuck in the past . There is a galvanizing new independent mayor in Kathmandu who had initiated cleanup Kathmandu . Hope Janakpur will follow the same.
I never thought there would be garbage like that in Janakpur. Wtf is Municipality doing ??? I am ashamed being Nepali. And @13:09, I think he meant to say that every year there is wedding ceremony of God Ram and Goddess Sita at that temple. It is not used for the wedding of ordinary people.😂
