Great video, this is a gun in the top 5 for many people like me. Any advise on the dry fire procedure? I've seen some videos talking how the pin get broken after some dry firing steps
Just can't understand, with all the problems those cz guns have with the roll pin that you didn't pull it and inspect. You should also have a few extras on hand.
@chauncey phillips actually, you're right. This gun is not made for dry-firing and if you call CZ, they'll tell you that. You have to use snap caps or o-rings to dry fire this gun without problems.
Hello. Can you tell me what the gauge is in the underside of the slide? It's just under the extractor on inside of slide. Mine is doing that too but I can't figure out why
I have the CZ P07 Duty gen 1 an currently have the Gen 2 on layaway, i never seen so much wear on the inside of a pistol before in my life, my Gosh!! it is reliable, an no malfunctions, i have about 300 rounds thru it so far. I use grease on my Gun's, an i think it would be better for this type of firearm design to use grease instead of oil, the friction is just to severe.. can't wait to get my gen 2 an looking forward to seeing how that runs after 3 hundred rounds. Hopefully the inside wear Mark's aren't to bad..
Thanks for the video, I live in Mexico city and my english is badly, but, I want to buy a new gun I have a Glock G25 .380 with 7,500 rounds, but I read in CZ web paga that they use tnifer system in the gun I was thinking that you can not find any wear in your gun, thanks for the video
@@davidearl1056 I've found that It holds up ok as long as you don't dry fire a lot, and if you do you either use a snap cap or a number 83 rubber o-ring between the hammer and firing pin.
Carlos Garcia I have both. My g19 is my truck gun ever since my p07 purchase. The p07 is such a pleasure at the range. Still love Glock but CZs are great shooters. I understand why they are so popular in shooting competitions. For the price, get the p07.
Yes it is the Achilles heel of the P-07. If I could criticize the people at CZ, I would say that THEY KNOW that dry firing the 07 will damage the gun! So why don't they install a better retainer pin design from the factory? THANKS
For a 1000 rounds I don't see wear but seat marks. 2 surfaces meet and mate as one. I own a P07, Glocks, all the M&P Shields and 1 boat Anker Sig
Yeah my duty model looks like it has the same finish wear his has
You keep saying wear & tear repeatedly.
That’s not wear & tear, those are mating marks.
There is a difference between the two.
I just ordered the OD green model. Comes with night sights out of the box. That was a big plus. Can't wait to get my paws on it.
Are they real night sights or the ones that have to charge with ambien light? Thanks
The finish issue was mainly with the PO7 Duty line, not with the PO-7 lime...
Yeah I got the duty but the finish wear ain't really bad at all
I like CZ handguns because the make me a better shooter

Buy #83 O rings at Lowe's. It will protect the firing pin.

Use snap caps.

Look on Amazon I bought 15 roll pins for 10 bucks same exact pin but solid deal
@@vasttrance877 solid steel???
Roll pins are "rolled" for a reason.
Gives it "spring tension" to keep it where it's supposed to be.
That shows barely any wear to me. Thanks for the video. I'm thinking about picking up one of these. Maybe. The compact one.
Best gun i ever owned
LdidThaT Same here.
LdidTthat same here
@chauncey phillips nothing wrong with it, just make sure the slide is on it
What guns have you owned in the past?

That gun is in perfect condition, there is no real wear on it.
This is the first video ever that I had to use the 0.25 speed....
Hahaha. First time I ever actually saw a person clear a loaded gun on the internet…
UA-cam gonna ban you for that….. 😂

What about the firing pin retainer pin?

Update on the p07 .... round count? Anything negative?
Guns & Stuff I was hoping you had at least 5k through it by now trying to make up my mind between a p07 or another g19

Update on p07 and round count would be nice
Guns & Stuff appreciate man.
Guns & Stuff : Shall be awaiting 2000-2500 or 5,000 rounds. All the best.
How's the Firing pin retaining pin??? P07's Achilles heel

Not an achilles heel. Just a cz issue that should be remedied. Easy, cheap fix. Quit whining; they are great guns.
@@Swamprowdy If it's an issue and a major one at that why does CZ not address it in the first place? If as you said it's just an easy and cheap fix.
@@Swamprowdy its a weakness and cz is not doing shit about it fanboy
@@boomaster515because it’s not really an issue Glock sucker. You can get an upgraded retainer pin for like $5 and it installs in just a few minutes.
Why is there now a pin in the extractor? The previous version did not have this.
It's a loaded chamber indicator.
How often did you clean it...and do you typically leave so much oil in it? Good review.
