thats a good point i didnt think about. also what if its raining heavily? Opening the doors would get everything inside wet. Im wondering how saab dealt with these problems. Eh i still want one.
We have 2005 Saab 9-5 Wagon 2.3T. Age about 318000 KM. Almost no chassy rost or something like that. Only repairs we have done is the turbo, one of the weakest side on Saab. Then the lights and oils. All electronics works, heat seats and so on, electric windows and so on. I think that most Saab owners will say that Saab is great and safe car. So i think. Of course it depends how you care about it.
Do you guys have any idea what is the name of the song in this commercial? Or who is the performer? Or is it just a score music especially made for this commercial?
I have worked for a SAAB mechanic for 5 years and owned 6 SAABs ranging from my 85' spg to my Current Viggen.....The build quality of the older cars is on par with Mercededs and while the new ones are malibu quality "not for long though" they may take loving care from people who should know something about cars they are very reliable 300K miles-----possibley 1 million miles depending on how well you take care of them. you should should keep your ill informed un educated comments to your self!
How it's possible Saab's people produced such an amazing, no-competitors, almost perfect 'aerospace roads vehicle'....just to don't sell it..? Can someone give me a little rational explanation...? Please forgive my in-training english..!!!
shure they would! It would just take someone with style and knowledge of Cars... so you are right in a sense that you should probably stick with your 99' Dodge durango with that check engine light you never fixed!

Saab has got what they want from this car which is Media Attention. They knew this canopy design doesn't make any sense, compared to Mercedes Gulling door design. Think abut you want to get in the car quick while raining but the slow-open canopy gets you, your girl and the interior all wet... oops
Haha and you should go ask any former Saab owner in the world and see what they tell you and ask why they switched from Saab to whatever they got now. Simply because Saab is one of the most unreliable cars out there. But sure it depends on how well you take care of them but a Saab needs fixing every day. The only good thing with Saab is that after 20-25K miles Saab is a good car because then all errors is corrected if you still gonna drive around with it that is.
Hahaha. Get in any Saab today, old or new, the "check engine light" is ALWAYS on. It's like that light was invented just for Saab because they are shitcrap and always break.

This and the Aston Martin Vantage should go down as the two most beautiful cars ever made (assuming they finally realese this)
i remember seeing this at the auto show this is one of the best cars never made
they shouldve used this for i-robot
That and possibly the canopy is NOT so slow opening, it may be that it was slowed down in the video so it could be properly emphasized.
Apple should start designing car interfaces.

ALLAH SAAB ına bağışlasın.AMİNNNN....
Saabs are generally dull in my opinion but really great cars to drive and are very reliable.
Audi really out did themselves with this one, but I'm ready to see a car designed after the new bat-mobile (The Tumbler.
lol, try watching this video with muted sound, and Danny Elfman's Christmas Eve Montage playing in the background
All wheel drive, twin turbo, bio-ethanol powered 400 HP V6.... HAWT!

batman begins? and yes, i agree with the batterie bit unless they make it manual open as well... otherwise an ugly car.

Most ugly car ever. Looks like a super car for women, still women shouldn't drive at all but this car is for a woman. Yikes!
Way ahead of it's time as some cars that are stolen style likenesses exist today
