Favela Raid with Task Force 141 NPCs! Modern Warfare 2 Special Ops (O Cristo Rendentor)

The Brazillian government realizes that Task Force 141 performed well in their hunt for Alejandro Rojas in fighting the favela militia, they then request permission from Lieutenant General Shepherd if they could send their best men back to wipe out the militia, he accepts and sends Ghost, Soap and many others to cleanse the favela 2 days after their mission at the oil rig, it is a success and the Brazillian government congratulates their actions and bids them farewell as the
PMERJ are sent in to raid any remnant of the militia. Twenty months after Shepherd's death, the favela is completely cleasned of militia.

I actually always wondered what the reasoning behind the militia was. If they were just defending their homes and stuff, it makes sense. If they are criminal gang, then it doesn’t make much sense to be called “ militia”.
Embarrassing when you consider one guy took all these down on his own on veteran in 1 minute 35 seconds…

Technically you do get unlimited soldiers to help you out lol. A random TF141 soldier always takes the place of a dead one til the very last ark of the mission!
@@metalnat27 true but you get like 2-3 soldiers in the missions and they die easily. When here you can spawn 6-7 and feels more like a fair fight. Because tbh if you didn’t have 2 soldiers who were always invincible. You’d never get passed any of the missions
@@Davemillerson Hah so true! Great example is at the very beginning of the first mission of Favela when Soap & Ghost stays behind interrogating the gang member while you're on your way with 2 other random TF141 soldiers and they always ( unscripted ) die right off the bat forcing you to complete the mission solo lol. Thankfully, the enemy is no longer THAT aggressive once you're on your own so it's doable. But yeah....I do agree with you there overall lol. Random soldiers in this game contribute very little in missions. And it would be impossible indeed to complete most of these missions had it not be for at least one invincible ally in your team! ESPECIALLY with the ranger missions lol. Without Corporal Dunn & Sergeant Foley, we'd be dead on arrival lol
And mind you, you actually get a very good fair amount of random Ranger soldiers too to back you up 😜
It's like a dozens of em fighting by your side! But that is still not enough for the enemy to break through your perimeter like nothing lol.
@@metalnat27 the only mission that feels fair is Wolverines. You get given 4-5 guys that will following you around as you fight your way through the Russians.
If you didn’t know the rangers actually can take out the choppers for you. Even without the RPG man you receive.
@@Davemillerson I kinda edited my comment adding to the speech lol. And you definitely get a LOT MORE than 5 guys to back you up in just about all the rangers missions. Especially when you get that Striker to escort you to that crash site! There are like DOZENS of Rangers fighting with you! And in Washington DC before the nuclear blast.....same thing! Easily about 20+ Rangers fighting alongside you! HOWEVER they still tend to all die easily lol. So not much of a difference here! But still fun and better than nothing!

TF141 picks their members from Tier 1 special forces units, including the SAS, so yes they do have SAS operators, but the unit itself is not the SAS.

Finally, an out of first person perspective of this, thank you
I would go freecam in every mission if they had only 1 mission trigger like this level, but mostly that is not to the case, usually enemies spawns if player is on the ground and triggering the objectives. When I'm on freecam I can't trigger them so for each one of them I would need to go on the ground and since this game doesn't have a custom save system that means for every trigger I will be restarting the mission or if I'm lucky just going to last saved objective, that is what I am doing for my Wars of NPCs videos but those ones are the mission where NPCs keep spawning continuously but that is not happening for example in Gulag mission or in my last Joint Operation mission so I have to play them in first person perspective to make videos of those missions.

In COD games every mission has its own mission triggers and in most cases, to trigger the next event and keep the mission going player needs to be on the ground so that is why I'm mostly playing in first person perspective instead of freecam. In this mission though it was very easy to do this, I just had to trigger mission start and all NPCs kept spawning.

I appreciate your dedication on making this video. I know how tiresome it is to spawn that much friendly model considering most you spawned are either civilians or enemies. Keep on the great work 👍

If you already have the AI spawner, I found a way to spawn only allies. NPC Universe put it in his description
-Open test_script.gsc in Notepad.
-CTRL + F and search for GetSpawnerArray. It should be under doBotSpawn() and under a comment called //Get Spawners.
-You want to replace the function GetSpawnerArray() with GetSpawnerTeamArray( "allies" )
-The spaces between the quotation marks and the parentheses are VERY important. If you don't put a space between them, you'll get an error saying variable "allies" uninitialised.
-The full line should look like this
spawners = GetSpawnerTeamArray( "allies" );

This makes the code look only for categories that count as allies.

Cod is the best choice for npc wars. I reccomend an npc war in the mission war pig from cod 4 mw for the next video. Great stuff!
There's nothing stronger in this game than the militia's blind firing
This mission on the hardest difficulty was hair pulling, headache inducing, stress filled frustration, that rendered many keyboards/controllers permanently damaged, and many mice suffering barbaric acts of brutal violence, not seen since playing Super Stars Wars on the SNES.

Just in general I feel these games always give you too few soldiers to fight with, like I remember when u attack the castle in mw2 to save price, you attack with like 6 guys and it just gives me too much of a 1 man army feel when this game is supposed to be about a large scale war

Boy, for T1 Operators, they're pretty lousy shots. Maybe thats why Royce and Meat always ate it in the first 10 seconds.

Yes but campaing missions has mission triggers that player needs to be on the ground and playing the game so it wont be with free camera and cinematic like this video

I’m just gonna say it. MW2 141 operators outperform and outlook MW2 Remastered 141. OG 141 operators are much more realistic for experienced counter terrorism operators that are a collection of the “best handpicked group of warriors on the planet” and their gear not only makes more sense but looks cooler. MW2R 141 Howe ever are equally matched with Favela soldier
