Not far from the famous Ponte Vecchio in the beautiful historical center of Florence in Italy, a prestigious palazzo of ancient origins dating back to the XIV century and restored in 1566 by the architect Bernard Buontalenti commissioned by the Grand Duke Francesco I de 'Medici.
Noteworthy features of this Florence real estate is the ancient facade of the building that is decorated by Bernardino Poccetti and was subsequently enriched by Buontalenti with two kneeling windows with the typical bat with spread wings under the sill and a door surmounted by the coat of arms of the resident family. This facade is a precious and rare example of the beautiful decorations and graffiti that adorned the facades of most of the Florentine buildings during the XVI century which now characterize one of the most exclusive homes in Tuscany. The building has a surface of 670 m2 distributed on four floors including a basement with a cellar and the third floor occupied by a panoramic terrace.
The ground floor is occupied by a garage and the guardian's apartment consisting of a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. On the upper levels, there is the main house. During the restoration of the apartments there was a great deal of attention to finishing and details, such as the precious wall paintings and the ancient fireplaces.

1. Make sure for a reservation for night dinner. 2. Don’t try to get something on a terrasse after 4 PM they just want to get back home. 3. They have so much visitors that they just don’t like them very much.
But still a wonderful city for Arts, Architecture, History, Museums you need a day reservation well in advance, Gastronomy, Wines & Cheeses Shops…a very classy City.
@@aliasErEf Very true, some Florentines, like some Romans, can be very rude. Ironically some of them have the insolence of complaining about the tourism, which is what keeps them alive!😡
When in Italy there is one main rule fo follow... you have to go with the flow and research well the restaurants one goes to, it is easy to fall into tourist traps especially in the city center.
That is odd, from 6pm to 8pm is aperitivo time so I find it strange that after 4pm they want to go home since that is one of the busiest times! However it is a pity that your experiences were so negative but I believe it is important that everyone value their experience personally and not be poisoned by the negative experience of others - Stefanie
@@Lionard I always keep an open mind. Everyone's experience is different just as every city is different. Not everyone can have every experience be perfect, sometimes even the best plans fall through. That's when you have to go with the flow! Everything is what you make of it.

not sure why, since internet came into our lives, old bldgs and its designs have lost their utility and appeal imo...I mean, there are much better and well designed homes which sell for less that could be built w/ ease....eventually, one of these tech giants would come up w/ a self contained home that can survive an EMP, natural disaster such as hurricane/tornado, and even light mortar rounds....

@@Lionard has Lionard thought about interviewing local family owned businesses in these historic towns in Italy as a way of showcasing the area and promoting the real estate you sell?(For example Florence used to be well know as a town of silk weavers would love to see if there are any still in business and promote their business and you guys receive a fee.) if Lionard were part Italian travel channel and a real estate channel you’d reach a broader audience and probably increase sales plus make more money from ad scents on UA-cam.
Her ears really are pretty, but she looks pretty anyway. She needs to vary her style according to each city and property she visits, sometimes more formal and other times more casual. Don't you think it's interesting that we can see the various forms of an extremely beautiful girl like her? 😁
