1:01:26 This point by Haz is really important to me because communism, as I studied it more especially Marxism, helped me improve reactions with my parents since I realized that a lot of issues we faced and that made things rocky for them were from the capitalist-imperialist system; that communism inherently is pro-family.

@ everyone deserves it if they are capable or if they have earned forgiveness. My family has in their practice. They ain’t communists but they aren’t anti-communist. But I can understand how families could have massive issues that are unforgivable: S.A, and stuff like that. Their actions mainly prove or disprove of being able to forgive, or otherwise forget.

1:04:15 the May Day riots of 1919 show that when an original founder of the CPUSA (Charles Ruthenburg) was in the Socialist Party, him and his comrades marched with a socialist flag and an American flag -
then some army officers asked the socialists to put down their American flags to which “no” was the answer, and then the army started beating up the socialist patriots while calling for cops to come and join in (the army and law enforcement started the riots mentioned).
Thus the American flag is merely representing our country and its revolutionary traditions despite the flaws and issues in US history.
