@@tubeby2106 yes, they are a joke to me. Nearly every tower in jtoh or elsewhere has their own separate place (jtoh has the practice lobby for intense+ too)
@aversge I would recommend ToYV, ToVE, SoTP, ToMO, ToFG, ToES and ToU as I haven't made a progressing through Remorseless video yet, but for your first SC, do what you enjoy most :) ToVE, and ToMO are severely skill and purist based and are super helpful, ToMO also has alot of partial safety nets. ToFG is also really skill based, however it is a little harder than what it's rated as, at Mid Remorseless. ToES is a really popular choice after ToTS alongside ToED SoTP is shorter than ToVE and ToMO but it has less partial safety nets. ToU helps with alot of things, it definitely took me the longest time but i improved the most from that tower before an SC. ToYV isn't a really popular tower and is usually hated on for being repetitive but it was the tower I did right before an SC and it has alot of wrap around gameplay.

In my opinion, ToTS is still an amazing choice as your first remorseless for many reasons: 1. The high difficulty of floor 9 will get you used to practising difficulty spikes, something you will do a lot in sc towers. 2. While it may not be the easiest option, it is certainly an amazing skill booster, and after you finish it, you will be ready to jump right up to the higher end of remorseless. 3. ToTS is in ring 1, meaning you can access it no matter where you are, unlike towers like ToAF, where you will spend a lot of time avoiding your first remorseless instead of practising and grinding. 4. ToTS has very smooth and fun gameplay, once you get the hang of the early floors, you will most likely enjoy grinding this tower as long as you don't hate purism. 5. Finally, ToTS' gameplay blends well with towers higher up the chart, beating something like ToTS will make going for early insane towers like ToDT or ToIF much more of a smooth transition. Obviously, you can do whatever tower you like, I just thought I'd mention some advantages of ToTS as you described it quite negativley in the video. If anyone reading this plans to do ToTS, just make sure to practice 9 as much as possible, if you can beat floor 9, you can beat the tower.
@Wizdabest1 I agree with all of these but as a second Remorseless. The more Remorseless towers that are getting added are becoming easier. ToTS will take about a week or longer like ToN did for me as a first Remorseless and can lead to demotivation similar to the situation in Geometry Dash with there being no demons easier than The Lightning Road if you are unable to beat it. If more people are aware that towers like ToTJ will take less than a day (ToTJ might take a while if you struggle with client objects, but ToBBB and ToNP won't take very long). I think people should do a Remorseless like ToTJ, ToAF, ToBBB, ToTEM, ToNP, ToFSF first if ToTS is leading to demotivation with the game and unable to progress and then do ToTS as a second Remorseless. ToTS is a tower that will gain skill so I would say Doing ToTS as a first Remorseless is for those who want to skip over the gap of being unable to beat a Remorseless tower. That is what this video doesn't explain well, but I hope this comment is helpful.
@Keipez I see your point, I beat ToTS almost a year ago now and I can still remember that it was demotivating at times, there are easier options, and I can agree that there are good reasons to be picking them over ToTS. ToTS is a difficult grind, but at the same time, if you can beat it as your first remorseless, you are close to being ready for sc towers. As a 2nd remorseless, I do agree that ToTS has more value than it does as a first remorseless, as it will be much easier with the skills of having already beaten a remorseless tower, and if doing ToTS as a first rem is demotivating, I can definitely see why you would want to go for something easier. The only thing I would like to point out though, is that overcoming a demotivating grind can lead to some of the most satisfying completions there are, having done ToTS as my first rem, I can definitely say that was true in this scenario. So while I do agree that there are easier first rem options, and that ToTS holds alot of value as a 2nd rem, I still think that it can be a good option for your first remorseless tower.
I beat totem as my first rem and f8-10 was so annoying because I kept falling all the way down to the pit over and over again and I was shaking so much during the final stretch
I’d unironically say ToZ can be a good first remorseless too, it’s extremely easy and consistent once you have learnt all puzzles, only having 2-3 intense parts and no real remorseless section :)
@@Keipez Good luck, if you use a guide and maybe practice floor 7 enough, it's going to be pretty easy for you, don't be scared by it being a peak remorseless and it should be fine ;)
@Energity_Colouts I know it will be one of the older Peak Remorseless towers similar to ToCN where it is rated as Peak Remorseless but much easier. I'm currently trying it without guides. It is very fun to figure the puzzles out.
Bruh tots is so easy I completed it in two days (I only spent a couple hours) after completing all the other towers (except TT) in ring one without practice. Just all jump tots in practice to find some jumps you may want to practice then practice floor 9 and 10 and you should be good. I did fail floor 9 a bunch and floor 10 once but I was able to just get back up in a few minutes and retry once you get the hang of it this tower becomes really easy.
I prob recommend ToGD as first rem. It has a lot of button progress and net on floor 5. Floors 7-9 are some of the shortest including Floors 1-3 so the longest floors would be Floors 4-6. The gameplay is easy at Floor 4(not including the outside section), Floor 5, Floor 6, and the short floors(they do require some practice tho) and Floor 10. Cant say anything for Floor 10 but do not stress on the killbrick part because it is def easy to avoid and also the final stretch.
@plausibledeniabilities I used to use 5 sens but when I started recording I started using 7. Alot of people say 7 is the best sensitivity and I thought they meant overall but I didn't realise that 9 and 10 are the best sensitivity for the hardest towers. 7 is great for casual play.
realistically you could do ToVE as your third rem since its a mid-high rem in general i'd recommend stuff which is equally focused on cos and purism. be warned going into it that even though it's short the raw difficulty makes up for it
I started using 5 but when I started recording videos I switched to 7. For casual play it's definitely best to start out using 5 and slowly adjust to 7 but for the hardest towers it is best to use 9 or 10 sensitivity. I never realised this so when I was switching to 7 I thought it was overall the best sensitivity to use for controller.
