being an Indian and listening to Steph talk about chai as "straight up drinking spices" when it's literally heaven for us 😂😭
No but I kinda get her lmao, some shops/cafes don't make it good, they don't do it on the hob for a long time and let the spice mix and blend and get creamy, it's usually just all in one tea bag and tastes sharp and unblended

Chai in britain is nothing like how its supposed to be...atleast not commercially. Plus what she mentioned was gingerbread chai. I can see every Indian hating it too😄

The panic of almost losing the Duolingo streak I FELT THAT. I'm on like 1026 days and if I lost it I might never open the app again lmao
I think u can pay to get your streak back, just in case you did happen to loose it! I remember when I was like 13 and lost my streak I could pay like £3 or something like that to get it back 😂
omg same, i always have these two streak freezes you can have, just in case, but I forgot to do a lesson the other day and was so stressed out the streak freeze hadn’t worked.

You can always move the clock of your phone (on settings) and go back to the previous day, do the duolingo stuff, and then move back to the correct time and it works lol. That's how I preserved my 50 day streak once.
In fact, I lost my 500 days streak... and i'm not open Duolingo again ever
Hey I'm a beautitian and often work with brows, here are some tips so it doesn't hurt that much
Use hot wax not strips as you have more control and can just shape it the way you need. But if you only have strip wax here are some more tips
1) cut them up smaller so that way you are using less product (saving your money) and have more control over what's being removed bc once it's gone it's gone
2) apply the strip in the direction it's growing. So eyebrows usually grow out to the side so start applying the wax on the inside of your brow going outwards.
3) using your knuckle rub on the wax strip, you always have to warm up strip wax or it will just pull your skin not your hair. If you're using hard wax, just leave it to harden you can even stick the soatualr to the side to use a handle when ripping it off.
4) Now using your non-domemamt hand pull the outside of your eyebrow to support your skin. With your dominant hand, flick up the end of the wax (on the outside of your brow) and pull off in one quick motion. Remember to pull away from the direction your hair growing otherwise it won't grab your hair and wax will get stuck to your skin.
5) avoid using any harsh creams, if you're going into the sun in the next 24 -48 hours wear a hat or sum-cream and avoid chlorine for a day or so to avoid damaging your skin as it has lost the hair protecting it.
English breakfast tea is like the best tea. I hate any other tea lmao. Some people like earl grey but it tastes like grass 🤣
I love Rooibos tea, there are several variations like rooibos vanilla or rooibos chocolate (but I like vanilla more) and that with some oatmilk is absolutely amazing

My favorite tea is the red velvet chocolate by the brand the republic of tea. It's caffeine free so you can drink it before bed!

YOU NEED TO TRY ROOIBOS (red bush) TEA! It’s one of the only types that don’t have caffeine (so it’s perfect for night time) and it’s so tasty! The rooibos plant only grows in South Africa, where I’m from🇿🇦❤️ But it does get exported
english breakfast is so good, you could try earl grey too. I would recommend keeping the tea bag in until after you add the milk and stir then you can take it out, or you can even leave it in but then i would add a little more milk.

Rooibos is s South African herbal tea and its amazing its also really nice with milk but it's the perfect combo of a herbal tea but also "normal" tea where you add milk

i recently was in new york and passed multiple pret stores and thought of steph.
Smuggler's Brew is by far the nicest standard tea I've had, got it in Cornwall and I 10/10 recommend - honourable mentions go to Twinings lemon and Ginger (add honey tho) and Genmaicha green tea (its green tea with roasted rice in it, amazing)

Wait imma give you a crash course in tea
- The tea you made and drank can be had at any time of day (just because they say English breakfast doesn’t mean it has to be for just mornings)
- most people don’t really go for the twinnings tea bags the most popular tea brands are Tetley, PG Tips and Yorkshire Tea ( I use tetley)
- how you made your tea was really good, I’d say steep the tea for upto a minute and kinda press the tea bag to the side of the mug while steeping and then when you take it out at the end
- any milk preference
- sugar also depends on you but i can’t lie I don’t know anyone who just puts a pinch of sugar in their tea
