Those snakeheads act like northern pike. Nice largemouth bass! Do you have to worry about being bit by one? They are a beautiful fish. How awesome that you caught that monster snakehead right after the other one. Great action packed fishing video, my friend! 🎣👊🏼
I remember catching my first Snakehead about 12 years ago I had no clue what I had we took pictures and let it back we was all shocked for awhile till a local bait shop told us. That’s a fun fish 🐟
The setup I like to use is a 200 size shimano tranX on a mojo bass 10-20 lb rod. That’s worked great for me so far! I also like to use straight braid so you have more power on the hookset!
@@IslandLifeFishing your welcome bud and Noted I don't know how long it will be till I can come down but I'll holler at ya'll and let you know I get to get my license and my parents to trust me enough to come down you know how it is but I will definitely try to
I am always impressed with how you pull such big fish out of narrow areas. That canal doesn't look that big. Great tips though. Gotta bend that hook man.
Really cool fish and great catches. I was supposed to go to Florida a couple weeks ago but had to cancel because of the virus. I really wanted to hit these canals hard. You are really fortunate to have all these cool species just off the road. Great video. 👍
Most people kill them because they heard from someone that they can't be released, but it is perfectly legal to release them where caught anywhere in the U.S. where they are established. Only illegal to transport them live.
@@arngreencare8955 Research has found they aren't the threat once believed, thus the reason why catch and release where caught is PERFECTLY LEGAL. Who cares what the USGC says!
I love these Snakeheads. I love background music. The weather looks nice in Florida. I just smacked the like.
