- So here is my first ever hiking experience at El Rio Seco in Spain. Not a great start but we powered through! I vlogged this whole hike using my GoPro hero 8 and also used my Dji Mavic Mini Drone. This was my first proper flight so feel free to give me any tips or advice, it would be much appreciated! Yep, was a very unlucky start to the day! 😅 But all healed now haha...And the flies were doing my head in!!! Can't stand them 😂 and you should get one, they're awesome...this is the first time I've practised, hoping to practise way more...still really scared of flying it hahaha!! Love the FLY COUNT! Haha! It's always the worst especially when they get to your mouth or your ear and you can hear it. Good thing you guys found shade though. Didn't see many big trees until you found that one. Definitely a nice place for lunch. Drone shots were awesome!!! Thanks for sharing guys! We loved watching your adventure! Looks like a lovely little drive and the lemon trees looked awesome. Great start to the hike! Haha you seem to be as lucky as us! Getting stung 5 minutes in and a thorn in the shoe! I do miss the heat although not while hiking tehe. Looked like a lovely lunch even with the flies :) We need those little plants too. We are terrible looking after plants. Nice cheeky drone shots in there too! Great job :)

That place is really beautiful! Haven't ever done any hiking in a desert looking area like that but I would like to. I'm not sure if they have the "alltrails app" there but you should check it out. Thanks for sharing

Bummer about the bugs and thorns first thing! Did it smell like lemons while y'all were hiking? Aren't the drones so fun to fly?! We love ours! Footage looked great! Glad your shoes worked well! Nothing like buying hiking shoes and they are crummy on your first hike out! See you soon!

I know right?! Talk about bad luck haha... And yes while walking through the lemon trees it smelt lovely, but that was only for the first 10 minutes really! And oh my godddd, so fun!! But so scary!!!! Im literally still so scared to fly it hahaha, god knows how you did it in the sea that once on the Jet Ski !!! And yeah glad ive got a good pair now, planning on doing loads more hiking once its cooled down a bit :) Thanks again Ashley, really appreciate it !! 💙💙

We mix vanilla extract with water and spray it on ourselves to repel the bugs. It works to repel most bugs but you spend the day craving cookies because it smells like you have been baking. It smells way better than store purchased bug repellent. It won't repel thorns tho. LOL. That is a crazy thorn to go thru a shoe like that. I've never heard of rubber bands snapping from the heat. That's hot for sure. The drone shots are beautiful. Pretty scenery. Always love your videos.

I know, that God for that tree!!!! 😂🙏🏻 and is it worse is Aus? Would love to go one day! And yeah moved to Spain when I was 10, lived here ever since, and I met my boyfriend in Spain but he lived in Ireland at the time, he moved over to be with me 😁🤗
