Thanks for the details. I think this mode is not only for valet parking but more for a valet driving the car. In case you have a driver (valet) for your car you must know where he is taking your car & not driving rash. For eg if I ask my driver to pick my child from school I must be sure that he is driving in speed limit & am aware of his location.

7:53 speed limit of 80 kms/h is apt as for other use cases also, for example if you avail pickup and drop service for your car service. In that case limiting speed to 20-30 kms/hr is not practical.

Mahindra doesn't decide the valet mode speed ...owners can decide valet mode speed max upto 112 km/h when they activate it. this i think is globally accepted and define in AUTOSAR
