Great video. I have about 1200 hours in a 900XP and it was my favourite. Sweet aircraft to fly. Now on a GLEX. More range but not as nimble as the Hawker.
I am in the process of obtaining my pilots licence. The professionalism you two used are a great example for me to follow. I wish you smooth skies my friend!
Some of the best CRM I have seen on UA-cam. Very professional as some become too complacent as they get on. Nice vid quality as well. Wish they were all this good.
Usually, to some degree there is a link between the rudder pedals and the nosewheel steering. This aircraft does not have that function and as the pilot flying only has one pair of hands, the pilot monitoring takes control of the yoke so that the guy in the left seat has a spare left hand to manipulate the steering tiller.
+Jose Colon Thanks for the input, Colon. This checklist is ran from a "cold" airplane on the first start of the day, which is done before passengers arrive. We use an abbreviated or "Quickturn" checklist on subsequent starts. I'm guessing you knew all of this judging by the candor of your comment.
91.211(b)(1)(ii) tells us that when there are 2 pilots who each have quick donning masks then "that the one pilot need not wear" the mask, referring to the one pilot who earlier needed to wear it when the masks weren't quick donning.
As one who logs a couple hundred hours a year in this particular aircraft, which was manufactured in 1997, I can tell you with certainty that it is in fact a Hawker 800XP.

Very well made, simple video. Great tool for someone very soon to be training into the same airplane *fingers crossed*. Thank you!
I am a 777-300ER captain. But I do love these Hawkers.
Captain Gareth Payne They are great airplanes! Good flying machines!
How many hours do you have on this aircraft?
I'm currently in the 700ish range. We only had a couple handed when this video was made.
Well, Safe landings my friend.

cool co-pilot ive ever seen
Learning two Fly !! Thanks Gentelmen !!
Hey brother what device are you using to film this. Mount and camera?
It’s just an old GoPro3 and a generic suction cup mount. Nothing too exciting!
@@gdr1982 can you tell me the type of Mount it is. I fly the hawker too and I did not want tog eat the wrong Mount..
amazing man i hope i can reach one day this level!!! (y)
Wow, RAAS on an 800XP honeywell? Was that an add on?
RAAS?
Is this Hawker owner by a NetJets type service or by an Individual or Company?
Merle Therrien It's owned by an individual.
real nice !
me personnally i think someone should stand outside and talk to the pilot on the radio and tell them they're controls are moving
The first officer has no humanity. He is a robot.
🤣 Thanks!
Upon landing the F/O says "...I have the tops..." what does that means?
Ralph Freshour We refer to the yoke or bars (control column) as the “tops”, as opposed to the rudder pedals.

"...and cleared for takeoff" thanks
Long ass check list if you ask me

great video, no masks at FL400?

Grant Rogers ah very interesting thanks!
May it be flied by 1 single pilot?
that plane isn't a XP, it's just a hawker 800

Oh yes it is a XP, sorry.
