Pam The 1986 SuperCab Bullnose Ford Is Back On The Road!

After blowing up the original 351W Kenny and I install a new - used 351W from a local used parts guy, Duwayne! Pam has never run this good since Kenny bought her! With a full stainless dual exhaust system installed she’s also never sounded better either! This Saturday was a very busy day in Kennys shop where we started out pulling all the parts off of Tabitha that we wanted to install on Larry and Pam. Kenny was on harvester duties while I continued to take care of the detail work on Pam. I stole the distributor cap, rotor and wires, the ignition coil for Pam, Kenny took the dash out the previous night and cleaned it up for install into Pam, I had to track down a loose power connection to the tach to get it working like it should. Kenny stole the radio from Tabitha and the front bumper and lights all went onto Larry. Later in the day I took both window motors off as well as some clips for the electric door locks to get the passenger door operation on Pam once again. The door panels were taken out of Tabby for Pam and they cleaned up well and look killer in their new home! Kenny sold the hitch off of the truck and then he had someone show up and looked at the rest of the truck and decided they needed the parts that were left over so he ended up selling it off before we were able to get the rest of the parts that we need! Kenny is planning to pull the rear fuel tank for Larry and all the supporting brackets and etc for it. ll in all Saturday was a great success here in the shops! @@Mongos_Garage thank you! dt360 in mounted in chassis and 4wd conversion is done on crewcab chassis wish I had more support I build some pretty crazy stuff just no one to record or edit

That is a great sounding truck. Nice work. Can you install an aftermarket spark box with an adjustable Rev limiter?

Thank you brother! The more I listen to the video the more I think it is timing or something hitting like exhaust or something. We are going to be putting back on the lift soon to do a nut and bolt check and to adjust the exhaust a bit, it does hit something and transfer vibration into the cab at times. Other then that so far so good. Thanks for the comment, to answer your question yes there is a aftermarket ignition box that would enable a rev limiter but I don't think this engine has the internals to support that kind of RPM. The Cam and heads are the limiting factor now, thanks again!
