Sir in rupak taal when we go up and down in raag brindavani saarang like.
sa re ma; sa re ma pa:
re ma pa; re ma pa ni:
ma pa ni; ma pa ni sa:
So sir these first two ni should be komal or shudhdha as overall we are going up but next swara to ni is a lower one ?

But what if a phrase ends on swara ni in arohi. Then next phrase starts with lower notes then this ni should be a should or komal.
