I am a Nigerian and I stand with my Togolese brothers, that a country is poor does not make them the most unhappy, of course wealth have a lot to play in total well being of a nation or an individual but its not the ultimate parameter to measure happiness the reporter should explain whydepressio and suicide rate is higher in western countries or compare oppressive govt like that of Burma and North Korea etc which makes life difficult for its citizen. All African nations may be facing so many diverse challenges but we are working things out.

I am from Canada and I would love to visit Togo some day. In addition to wanting to visit and Africa and speaking French, I love the idea of visiting a smaller country. I will live in Canada my entire life and never even see half of it, but if I spend enough time in a place like Togo I can explore the entire country and see what it's like. It also looks very beautiful

Yes all of us have our problems but my kids got a great education, professionals now living their dreams, travel, study, hobbies Life is easy. Togo isn't necessarily the most unhappy country in the world but there are definitely things that are depressing, starting number one from the sitting fool that we've had who keeps calling himself a leader and a president. Our military is utter trash, health care system us basically a system of charity and agriculture and culture is dying. My people are not unhappy, it takes a lot of force and energy to do that but that doesn't mean they're no struggling to get by a single day.
