I would rather put the kind of money this play asks I would rather invest in a high performance pc. Now I am not saying that the item is bad or price is unwarrented but its too high for me.

Is the sound quality that much better than an ipod/sony walkman?
    How does it compare?
I need to hear justification for the price.

So you don't know the answer to the question?

Can you be more descriptive? What do you actually notice in the sound? Just saying "better" doesn't help.

Yeah I don't buy the hype. I already have great headphones and listen to 44.1k 16bit wav files.
They do NOT sound like 64kbps mp3.
I don't believe you. I'll have to hear for myself, but the $800 headphone thing is bullshit.
If you spend more than $200 on headphones, you're an idiot.

Endezeichen Grimm hi. have you listen to it? i am now pondering my portable setup - i bought great b&w speakers, rega turntable and nad amp, which made me rediscover music in 2013 but also gradually made me lose interest in my portable audio - at the time ip5 + earbuds (i know, i know)
now i struggle with buying in-ear headphones to pair with my ip6. through couple of sessions in listening studio specialized in headphones i got lost in my current mp3 quality (and started to devour ip6 memory with flacs), dacs and phono amps as well as flac players. this one looks good to me but have no way to try it and i am not sure whether it is worth the extra investment & carry, but it could be better than carrying phono amp around?
yes, i am little bit lost :)) any advice is appreciated

Добрый день. При включении ручного эквалайзера есть незначительная просадка звука?

So what earbuds would you recommend with this? under $200. Should I just go with the Astell and Kern set?
