I tried Immersed with a Quest2 and a cheap HP laptop on Linux. The software works great, and I like the individual pass-trough portals you can set, so you never have to search for the controllers, or spill your coffee. The one downside is the image quality of the headset. I guess the Quest Pro is a bit better with the pancake lenses, but its still worse than my two 1080p monitors that I use normally. While its now bearable to work in VR, I think with the next generation of headset-displays working in VR will become much more enjoyable.
I agree. I tried it for two days with the QP and decided that I needed a much higher resolution. I will likely get the Immersed Visor 4K when that comes out.
I appreciate the honest review. I'm hoping to get these kind of things working with my windows and index vive. I can't really afford to switch to quest and I will probably never own apple products ever again. So if these bugs get sorted out and it becomes available for my existing hardware I'll be eager to use these things.
Great Presentation, this is the UA-cam video I was looking for! This works for me, I am transitioning to a smaller home office foot print with META PRO.
Ahh so the awful resolution I had on the second day of trying it is a bug. Good to know. Sometimes all of my screens would bug to show the same display making it unusable, or my portrait monitor will become landscape. So far for me it’s a no for real work as most of the time I spent fighting bugs or waiting longer on processes because of the extra GPU usage. I do like jumping in to do light work while chatting to strangers in the virtual spaces though. This is the biggest draw for me.
First video on this topic I've watched where someone actually uses Immersed with the Quest pro with detail. All other videos use different work applications that aren't as advanced as Immersed. Wished you'd talk about what it was like working with this headset for long periods of time. How is the eye strain? Can you use wired connection to lower latency even more? Is the headset comfortable over long periods? Probably some more questions also Great video though!
Love the content, purchase of mic would be huge improvement!, also.. the teleprompter is noticable, you can reduce this by narrowing the width of the text. ;) Keep it up!
You are a God send. I also use Maya ! It was the first app I tried with the Q Pro. I also tried Premiere and After Effects. No lag. I haven’t tried Resolve in it yet. I’m going to try doing a full project in Immersed.
the text is not readable, it is blurry, fuzzy, if there are tables, the lines are iridescent. The monitors are positioned in such a way that you have to jerk your head back and forth instead of eyes as on conventional monitors. Why are you lying to everyone here? This cannot be used in normal operating mode. Plus a bunch of bugs and the lack of clear and quick answers from those.supports immersed.
One of the few videos that nails the correct details about working with VR.
I truly appreciate your comment! Thank you ☺️

Great video! I'm only a week into working in the Metaverse (Immersed) and I can tell it's a game changer. Keep it up :D
Thank you! I'll definitely keep updating on Immersed since I use it on a daily basis
Thank you for creating this helpful video! Nice work 👍

Great video man! Interesting to see both pros and cons :D

Awesome video. I like working in Immersed. I should really try working in it for 2 weeks.

I'm curious if you're still working this way and how you've felt since you released it.

can I use it to code? (I am a programmer)
How has the Immersed app improved since you made this?
Did you see their new hardware?
Between Immersed and a Samsung Odyssey G9 wrap around monitor, do you think you'd prefer Immersed?
After many days of using Immersed I would say I would prefer the simplicity of the monitor as, I really want VR screen resolution to get better.
You mentioned you didn't want to melt your fanless macbook, how old is your macbook & just how much cpu &/or gpu does immersed use?
I'm using a base model 2020 M1 MacBook Air.
Immersed uses less than 20% of the CPU no GPU usage :)
Great video! Glad that you tried Immersed for real, many other reviewers just limit themselves to Horizon Workroom
Excellent video, thank you for making and sharing
I honestly just got into vr for this exact same reason, convenience. i could work from anywhere with a full blown multi display setup. its
How do you activate the webcam can somebody help me with it I make beats in vr and would like for my audience to see my avatar while I work
The quest 2's resolution is quite a bit higher than 1080p per eye
very good video, thanks for sharing!
There are negatives. Some other videos review. I tested working from quest 2 and it is not bad.
liked and subscribed :)
If only it had like 4 times the resolution it has now, I'd switch immediately. I guess it's a matter of time.
Nice video bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you :D
what about virtual desktop ?
What about the battery consumption. This thing sucks up batteries.
Not my experience-it’s laggy and hard to navigate the arrows.
Thank you so much
Pico 4 vr have AR...

Nice video. When you get a better pic you will get much more views. Reember me when you got 100'000k subs ;)
A little transparency, how much did you get paid to make this video?
The future of work lmfao yeah right
sad thing is, immersed is on the quest 2.
