I saw Gong play at Glastonbury Festival many moons ago. One of the most wonderfully bizarre experiences I've ever had. 😂
I'm in America and never saw them playing live. Did you see them with Daevid Allen or after he passed away?
@@TheRecluseeee It would have been in the mid to late 90's - so a long time ago! Honestly I don't remember much of the music, it all blurred into one melisma so to speak.
But it was in a big top tent, with the entire audience dressed much like you see Gong in the pictures. I was surrounded by wizards, faeries, kaftan hippies & naked painted people. The atmosphere was a mixture of weed haze & petuli oil. :)
You were lucky. Catching Gong live is not easy in the other parts of the world.
@@TheRecluseeee I was. My friend dragged me there - I wouldn't have seen them otherwise as I'd never heard of them before. Something I'll never forget!
HEY YOU .. CHEERS AND SMILES
@@TheRecluseeee YOU'RE SOUNDING GREAT. THE ONE DUDE IN THAT GROUP LOOKS A LOT LIKE THE LEAD SINGER IN THE "BLACKBERRY SMOKE" BAND SORTA SPOOKY KINDA.. I LIKE THE "NOT MUCH LEFT OF ME" SONG YOU SHOULD CHECK THEM OUT AND HAVE A LISTEN TO THEM .. CHEERS FOR YOU YOU ROCK SOLID
Thanks for the new music (Blackberry Smoke) recommendation. Yeah, right now my voice has more strength. I feel better at the moment. :)
Of course all 3 parts of the trilogy are excellent
For "trippy musikk" I like Aghori by Vibe Machine.
Thank you
@@TheRecluseeee :D Hahhha, yes won’t be doing that, thanks again!
