Atleast the crazy moneys to players who don't merit it aren't being renewed for starters. Varane & Martial that's 500k off the wage bill per week for players that rarely play consistently
Martinez would be a great captain.... If he wasn't perpetually injured😢. We are in a real mess, and unfortunately, it's gonna take far longer than 1 summer to address.
The club shouldn't be looking to extend the contracts of any players or the manager after the season we've had. Mainoo is contracted until 2027 and Garnacho until 2028, the rest don't deserve a contact extension after what we have all witnessed this season.
Why are we not promoting from within? We have always prided ourselves on our youth teams from the days of the Busby Babes to SAF. It's time now to build our team out of the ashes of this catastrophic season [one of the worst in my lifetime] and get this club to rise again like the Phoenix, by getting players who are steeped in the MUFC heart and have passion to play for the team and the badge. We can no longer throw money at this team. Next season is one we need to bed in... We need players in every single position to turn this team around and if we have any decent players coming through then lets 'blood them' and give them some time to shine.
Problem with that is you need leaders to take them under the wing. Who has the mentality to back Garna and Mainoo. Bruno made some noise about Garna's attitude problems after ETH spoke on it.
Varane is a luxury player who is outstanding at a club that dominates 70% possession. He is not the player you want to have in your backline for battles, we need hardline defenders in the mould of Chiellini.
Casimero and varane were great players but we paid over a hundred million and vast wages on two players that were past their best,we need to get rid of at least ten players that includes rashford,we probably need another three centre backs and another right and left back and a quality CDM plus another striker and a wide man it’s going to have to be a massive rebuild
Great views as normal lads. Let’s concentrate on getting that defence solid. Build the basics and then see it improve the performances. Well done on 70k lads.
On Hojland, we had a proper winger who attacked the byline and put crosses in, but he was any given enough chances and get sent on loan - pellestri!!!!

Varane is a Rolls Royce of a defender and our best CB. He is also younger than Maguire so let that sink in and put some respect on his name. We are letting him go for money reasons, just like we did with DeGea. If this was down to injuries Luke Shaw would also be going because in 9 years how many times has he played? I will believe in a "clearout" when players still under contract also go.
You're correct... It's mystifying how little the forwards get coached.. Also, i feel for Bruno because as you say, he's maybe not a strong enough for the future
@wilseph1 do you know what a forward is? I'm not sure hoijlund and garnacho have played much under another united manager.. And from memory , rashford didn't do too bad as a makeshift striker last season.. Have you not noticed how ineffective garnacho has been playing on the left? Rashford is also a right footed winger..and struggles on the left...I'm sure you're intelligent enough to join the dots

We have to manage our expectations. No point in saying we have to ‘go get them’ when we’re not going to pay inflated asking prices. Only one set of winners there. Gone are the days of players wanting to come to United

@@KennyFanTV At present we're only at least a couple of years behind the top 3 but we should be only 1 year or equal by now but due to EtH over spending & not bringing in the necessary players to give us the depth to deal with a 65 game season. This is what Ronaldo wanted the club to have a chance to succeed but EtH is the reason why we've lost so many games at the half way point cos he was hanging his players out to dry & he's at fault for 8 out of the 14 losses due to poor summer transfers where we want 6 players & only got 3, poor decisions making, poor preparations, poor assessment, poor team selection, poor squad usages & poor In-game management so his Job is definitely under review due to his underperformance as Manager of our Club. I am very concerned with player development. When is the last time United scouted, signed, and developed a young promising player from outside of the academy? It's extremely difficult to compete at the top level with veterans and inexperienced academy products. Also, the mentality of the team is worrying. Palms up, heads down whenever the going gets tough. I'd like to see the joy of the game return to the squad and to see them fight for the badge and each other. Dark times but fantastic show as always. #GGMU

It's not positive till the likes of Lindelof, Maguire, AWB, Shaw, Mctominay, Eriksen, and I could name more are all moved on, 5 of them have been here for a long time and are simply not good enough if Man utd want to build towards getting back to the top. Shaw too injury prone and it's est to cash in on him
Luke Shaw is good when he plays but do you know he's been injured on 22 separate occasions since we signed him from Southampton. The problem is he's still got another 3 years on his contract and who would want to sign him on his wages and with his injury record? He even missed 4 games back in 2018 with a bruise.

We keep the players that should stay plus fernandes and I would keep to get neves from Portugal team. I hope next season the euros are done and we got 8 to 10 world class players which won’t be easy with no Europe football I would tell them we’re building for the future. As for the wags get your husband to pay for your tickets they get payed enough money for the worse season we had in years. So they better get rid of those players in summer and look on the bright side of life whistle.

They are too young, lack experience, and physicality. This is not to say we can't start bringing them in slowly.
Only one or two ever make it at the top level, the rest either go to championship side or lower or abroad, but we certainly have a few with potential

Luke Shaw is good when he plays but do you know he's been injured on 22 separate occasions since we signed him from Southampton. The problem is he's still got another 3 years on his contract and who would want to sign him on his wages and with his injury record? He even missed 4 games back in 2018 with a bruise.
